This one really got me because it might as well be me in that girl’s situation. My mom’s a terrible person and there’s no other way to put it. I’ve had literal nightmares from things I’ve heard her say to customer service workers so I’ll leave it up to the imagination what she’s like behind closed doors. She’s also said to my face that she never wanted kids with the clear implication that she regretted having me and my brother. I just turned 26 and I’m only beginning to unpack all the trauma that I’ve considered normal for nearly all my life because I didn’t know any different forms of “love”. I have stories to fill several episodes and oh boy is my head effed up.
