The “no kids” story really struck me a bit. The mom CHOSE to be a mother, I understand that being kicked out and being neglected as a child and in turn raising a child is insanely difficult, but her daughter didn’t choose life. I had a mother who gave me the whole world, was a single parent, struggled with finances, sent me to private school and everything , but would in turn tell me I was basically a financial burden and just manipulated certain circumstances. I am gay, I have a wife and my mom took 6 years to come around. But she didn’t try to take her own life because I had a different plan for my life …As an adult now, my mom has grown and understands that I deserve to live my life for myself and not for her. This mom is just unfortunately throwing a tantrum bc she didn’t get what SHE wanted when it’s her daughter’s life. I feel for the daughter because this manipulation tactic is so emotionally, physically, and mentally shattering. It’s sad all around… but the daughter doesn’t deserve to hold on to this pain/weight/and pressure. Parents are to raise their kids to be good people, hard workers, and all around good humans…. Not to relive the dreams they couldn’t accomplish themselves …

I’ve always told people and now also my son that no one is ugly, they’re just not your preference or type and there is someone for everyone. And sometimes someone you don’t find attractive could become attractive over time once you get to know them.
