Hey Everyone,

I’m probably going to announce a skip month after SSV this week, unless I have an amazingly productive week while the kid is home sick. Unlikely.

However, Patreon will not stop. You’ll keep getting your chapter a day and end up nearly an entire month ahead of my kindle publishing. Wanted to make sure you were all aware.

I took a small break, have struggled a little getting back into Dragon 8 and then with the kid picking up Hand, foot and mouth it’s a sign that I need a slow period. (just 1 chapter a day feels like a break…)

I have also been debating a change for a while and I don’t think it’s going to happen just yet, but I have a tentative plan that I’ll lay out for you guys.

Nothing is currently planned to replace SSV in the rotation.

I’m going to write Dragon 8, back to Dungeon 3 and then finish off Dragon with 9.

My rotation has begun to challenge me more than I’d like to admit. So after Dragon 9 maybe dungeon 4 I’m going to try and do a trilogy in a single run. I have the series I want to do mapped out and I’ve been dabbling with it on the side.

It is a bit of a test run to see how I feel about doing a series straight through again.

After that the plan is to work on Dungeon a little and if I think the straight through process went well, I may shift my whole publishing model a bit.

Obviously we are talking far into the future, who knows what is going to happen to my business in the mean time. While a number of authors are spouting off alarmist posts, I’m of the mind that it is likely just a spring slump(Winter is normally my best while Spring is usually my worse sales seasons, the shift can be alarming).

I’m in an okay place, but the monthly releases can be difficult at times.

For a number of reasons I want to write larger books with slower releases. To keep engagement though the larger books, I want to do a webnovel/patreon forward approach with the ebook/audiobook releasing together down the line.

I’ll give a bigger update on everything that’s happening with current events at the end of SSV 5. Right now, I just wanted to make sure you were all aware that the Dragon delay was likely coming and wouldn’t effect you, then I ended up writing… all of that…

I will say I am slightly worried about the reception of this next Dragon book. With the attacks recently, Christians are very on edge and you’re about to make a book where Zach literally goes into Hell. I honestly think a month waiting to release it is probably for the best, gives time for things to cool down further.

Meh. If anyone is going to be offended with a fictional depiction of Hell, they were already offended by the harem.

I hope your child gets well soon it sucks being sick. As far as the books go anything is good regardless of how long it takes or how short.🤔😎
