This is the tutorial for the fingerpicking pattern, used throughout the song (the parts with the singing).

I have also released an intermediate level tutorial, where I break down the intro of the song, applying walking bass on top of the fingerpicking pattern.

About the tutorial

This is a great beginner level tutorial. The chords of the song are fairly simple and straightforward and the fingerpicking is simple yet unique and musical, applying alternating bass on some of the chords.

In the video I offer 2 versions to play the Dm chord - 1 for those who are already comfortable with barre chords, and one for those who are not.

The advantage of the barre chord version is that you can apply the alternating bass technique to this variation.
