This is the tutorial for the intro of the song (Instrumental part)

I have also released a beginner level tutorial for the fingerpicking pattern, used throughout the song (the parts with the singing)

Fingerpicking with walking bass

In this tutorial I am using the intro riff from the song Ikaro de la Pura Conciencia to demonstrate and explain how to apply walking bass on top of fingerpicking patterns.

This is a great technique to learn, that can add depth and richness into any song you're playing.

It requires a higher level of coordination than simple fingerpicking, because the fingers that are used for the chord shapes have to adjust and change in real time, to support the melody and compensate for the "missing fingers" - this technique is explained in the video.

Musically speaking, this is a great way to make your rhythm guitar technique more interesting and musical.
