Add color and harmonic richness to your rhythm guitar playing.

Learn how to use different scale tones on top of the standard chord shapes (C, G, Am, F) to explore different musical textures in a playful, creative way

Difficulty level: Intermediate

-------------------------------------------------------

I often get asked "how can I come up with more interesting chords for my songs?"

In this video I share one approach that is quite easy, playful and doesn't require a lot of music theory background.

You learn how to change the musical quality of the chord by trying out different tones from the scale on top of the chord.

In this video I am showing how to do it using only 3-5 notes from the major scale. This is quite simple to learn and can already enrich your musical arsenal and inspire you for new ideas.

Try it out and share with me how it goes! questions are welcome

Musical empowerment for singer/songwriters

Are you curious to explore how to make your songs more rich and interesting?

I often work with intuitive musicians, in a setting which is a combination of a lessons & co-creative session.

That means that you bring your own songs and I give you suggestions as to "how I would play it if I was your guitarist".

Based on what resonates with you we create an arrangement together, and I will teach you the technical & musical principles needed to play it yourself.
