Summary of 2019 and 2020 goal (Patreon)

There must be long-time patreon who remember that I almost quit being artist two years ago.

It's been two years now and it still feels like a while ago to me.

I often think about that moment.

So it's still like a dream I'm keep working on right now. 

I always thank you deeply to all of you who support me in Patreon.

Here are What I did on 2019 with your support 🙌

Making 10 stickers (= more than 240 GIFs)

14 themes

Without Patreon, I wouldn't be able to make all of them.

Goal of 2020

It's been 2 years since I made contents like animated stickers and themes.

In the meantime, I have made contents on various subjects, from plankton to puppy, and now I have some statistics.

The most downloaded paid items were 🍉watermelon themes 🍉 and  🍉watermelon sticker pack  🍉

For example, the download number of watermelon contents is much higher than all my shrimp contents combined.

Maybe without Patreon's help,

Instead of shrimp sticker pack, there would be watermelon versions 2,3,4,5,6,7🍉

Of course, I love to draw fruit, but I like drawing shrimp a lot more.

I was able to continue making the content I wanted to draw because of your support.

I love all kind of animals but always hope non-mainstream animals get more attention.

I want to continue as long as I can contribute to it, so I keep thinking about what to do.

1. Character doodle

I recently drew some doodle of Shy Shrimp.

It's not high-quality illust, but it's a way to draw more pictures in a lighter art style.

People see more the one character, the more they tend to feel friendly towards them.

It's a method that Big character companies use a lot.

So they can create a trend. But thanks to the Internet, indie artists also had a chance.

Indie artist work alone, so I don't know if I can keep doing this, but I think this could be one way.

2. More FREE contents

Free is the most powerful and effective form of publicity.

As you know, it takes so long and hard to make something that I never really thought of making it for free at first😂

But I made free contents this Pride day and so many people downloaded and used it.

More than 100,000 downloads so far on galaxy store.

And I started Giphy and Tenor this year.

Some of my stickers i uploaded on Giphy are on the Trend, and reached many views.

(( Oh... I would have been very rich if every single one who see this GIFs paid only a cent😎))

It's zero money profit from Giphy and tenor, but I found the possibility that moray eels, shrimp and beetles can become popular.

One more, many children cannot accessing paid content well.

I used to get messages from children asking me to make it free😂

I was the one who cannot buy paid content well when I was child.. at this time I never thought of asking an artist to make it free, so I was very surprised🤣🤣🤣 

If I make more free contents, kids will be able to use my content.

So, I am thinking about making free iMessage sticker pack for limited time at first, and I will change the price into paid contents over time. Like shy shrimp ver.2 and moth and  beetle sticker pack.

And some of my future galaxy themes too. 

I can make themes about endangered sea animals and corals 🤔

I'm not sure if I can keep doing this, but I'm going to try this in 2020.

I will keep try to make as much content as possible in 2020.

Personally, I really want to make an animated sticker for the squid, nudibranch, and octopus next year. And blue-footed booby birds and  gecko lizards...  More plankton and freshwater fish, garden eels and sharks, frogs and turtles. Or maybe I'll paint a whole new animal that I haven't painted yet.
