George had a bitter smile, but he was sure in the future, he would get her to call him that. “It’s good that you called. I was about to call you concerning your move to drop out of…. What!?”

“I said. I finished the first song. I spent all day on it and worked very hard. I do not think it can get any better than this.” Jasmine knew this was true because her system had just told her so!

“You…. You…. You! Hahahaha!” George’s outburst made it look like he had lost his mind. Jackie looked at her father with a strange gaze, wondering what was the matter with him.

“Don’t look at me like that! Your wife just finished her first song!” George snorted. He was about to ask when he could send someone out to help with the music composition but was interrupted.

“It’s good that she got a song written, but Dad, we need to deal with the major issue at hand!” Jackie was very happy that Jasmine finished her song, but she had to make sure Jasmine finished school!

“Right! Sorry. I forgot.” George took a deep breath before saying: “Jas, we can work on the music this weekend. For now, you can try posting it on Yutube and other social media. Have your wives help you out. But! You need to finish school you are close to graduating. So you are going to finish no matter what. This is part of your work, do you understand?”

Jasmine, who heard George talk about school, went silent. She could not say no since he had just firmly stated that it was part of her job. She clenched her fist before letting out a sigh. “Alright. I understand. I will have Jackie and Stacey help me with the social media stuff, and I promise to finish high school.”

“Good. I will be calling your school as well to make sure they contact me in case you do not show up. The entertainment industry will always be there. So be a student for now and enjoy your youth because once you graduate, your schedule will be so packed you won’t have much time for anything and will wish you were still in school.” George’s points were spot on, making it hard for Jasmine to refute. She sighed and agreed before hanging up. She looked at the clock and knew her two girlfriends were behind this, but she also felt warm in her heart. They cared so much about her that they worked hard to make a reason for her to continue going to school.

“I am so stupid!” Jasmine yelled out before smiling. “I will just punish them later.”
