Neo) Neo Versus Mystic Realm Part 1 (Patreon)

“Neo, when we reach the other side, meet up at the entrance, and we will go from there.” Princess Feng knew that the portal would not spawn you at the entrance when you passed through it. You would be randomly spawned in the outer zone.

Neo hummed an answer and did not hesitate to jump through the portal. When her surroundings changed, she found herself in what seemed like a jungle. Tall trees with vines hanging down and the hot, humid weather that could make one sweat in an instant. The ugly face of a demonic beast that stood over her while drooling away. It was definitely a different place.

“Your breath stinks….” Neo reached up and slapped the demonic beast’s head, causing it to explode on contact. The blood spurted out, drenching her from head to toe. Neo frowned and kicked the demonic beasts while yelling: “Why the hell did you do that!?”

But this only resulted in the demonic beast’s body exploding as well. Now covered in all kinds of slimy, bloody things, Neo was not very happy. She suddenly felt like destroying this mystic realm thing but stopped herself when she thought of the princess getting mad at her. She still had not had her chance to take a bath with the princess yet! “I will make her let me wash her body. Humph! Hmmm?” 

Neo spotted something that was slightly glowing in the puddle of mud. She walked over to it and picked it up. “Shiny!” Neo rubbed the blood off it onto her already bloodied shirt and frowned when he saw that it smeared. “I need new clothes…. Ah!” 

As soon as she said that, a young man appeared out of the bushes next to her. Their eyes met, and Neo’s lips curled up. “Hehe, perfect timing. Give me your clothes!” 

“Hey, wait! What are you doing!?” The young man could not resist as he was stripped naked and tied to a tree with vines. Neo went into the bushes, changed out of her bloodied clothes, and left them there, not caring about anything else. As for the young man who was left tied to the tree? He would probably end up being eaten by some monster. Neo could care less. She already got what she wanted.

After cleaning her shiny and washing her hair, she realized she could have just cleaned her clothes using magic, so she did that and redressed herself in her own clothes. “Much better.” With things now back in order, Neo walked in what she thought was the correct direction to the entrance of the mystic realm.

A few hours passed, and Princess Feng was standing next to Mei Ling, watching as other people met up in the same spot. “Why isn’t she here yet!?”

“Can you shut up? You have asked the same thing every five minutes so far! She might be in battle or running for her life!” Mei Ling really hated this girl who always complained. If it was not for the fact that she wanted to protect Neo from this wicked step-sister, she would not even want to be in the same area as her!

“You! You have no idea what the hell you are talking about! Why are you even…..” Princess Feng was interrupted when a loud sound was heard. She raised her head to see the barrier that kept the rank two to four demonic beasts in the first ring was shattered. “Damn it! I knew this would happen!”

“What!? What happened!?” Mei Ling was confused. She did not know what was going on or the significance of what had just happened.

“Neo just broke the barrier, keeping the rank two to four demonic beasts from being able to get to us! They do not tell anyone because they never expect that any new disciple would move that close to the first ring. But now…. Ahh! I want to slap her, but I will only end up hurting my hand!” Princess Feng could only rush out and try to find Neo. 

Mei Ling still did not understand, but from what she could understand, Neo seemed to be in trouble! She had to go help! “Wait for me! I am coming too!”

And the culprit who smashed the barrier that was there to keep the disciple safe had ten wolves three times the size of her, all staring down at her from above. “Didn’t anyone ever tell you it’s rude to stare at people!? Now that I look at you all….. Your fur is quite nice. I wonder if Beauty will like it if I gave it to her?”

The wolf who was closest to Neo did not even put her in its eyes. It watched as the puny human walked over and was about to ready its snack when it suddenly felt something was wrong. It felt a strong tug on the fur in the front of its chest, and before it could get away, it suddenly felt pain like it never felt before. “Howl!!!!!!!!!!” 

Neo looked at the bloodied fur in her hand and quickly casted cleanse on it to clean it. Only then did she find the fur was quite nice.  “I hope beauty will like it…. But I guess I can’t leave princess and the nice girl out either.”

Once Neo’s eyes fell on the other wolves, which were a rank three demonic beast called lightning wolves, these wolves suddenly turned and ran for their lives. The human was too scary!
