Myu decided she would keep the fact that she almost burnt the green bug when she saw it to herself. Instead, she bowed her head slightly to show some respect to Tilly’s parents. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Not the pleasure is ours. To think our arrogant daughter would finally form a contract with someone and someone as powerful as you. I thank you for taking my daughter into your care.” Tilly’s father bowed his head to Myu. Myu did not seem embarrassed at all as she turned her gaze to the porter in white.

This porter met her gaze and turned away. She did not seem to like Myu much. Seeing this Myu looked at Tilly and asked: “Can I swat the white one?”

“No!” Tilly yelled out, cold sweat dripping down her back. She knew Myu would do it if she had the chance to! “Mother, be nice to Myu. She is very kind…. Sorta….” 

Myu furrowed her brow. She wondered why it seemed Tilly could not give a definitive answer on how kind she was. She had always been a person with a big heart. One big enough to burn everyone who ticked her off. Was it not out of kindness that she would share her flames with others?

“Humph! She stole my lovely Tilly. How can I not be a little angry!?” Tilly’s mother snorted and crossed her arms across her chest. Although secretly she was patting her poort porter heart. She did not want to be smacked like a bug! She was thankful that her daughter could stop the demon!

“Enough! This is why our daughter turned out the way she did! It’s enough that she found a powerful contractor. At least now we do not need to worry about her from this moment on.” Tilly’s father gave his wife a look of warning before turning to Myu once more. “Once more, thank you for taking care of our daughter. She will be in your care from now on.”

“Mmm… Tilly is a good companion. I will make sure she does not come to harm.” Myu would not let those she cared about come to any harm, which is why Tilly was allowed to sit on her shoulder. And why her flames would never burn Tilly no matter how much she used them.

They did not stay long in the porter city. The porters did not seem to like Myu’s presence, but at the same time, they did not dare get too close to her. Word spreads fast, and most had already heard what had happened with the guards. 

When they exited the city, Tilly hugged Myu’s neck. “Thank you…. I do not know when I will see them again, but I am glad I was able to see them this time around.” 

“You can see them any time we pass through the floor, so do not worry. How long we will be in the tower for, I do not know, but for the time being, I plan to go as far as I can.” Myu just wanted to climb. Her goal was to try to revive her big sister. If she could bring Rio back to life she could allow her sister who took care of her for so long to live a life of luxury and eat all kinds of amazing things. A life without hardship.

“Mm…” Tilly nodded her head as she leaned against Myu’s neck. While she did not expect to get a contractor like Myu she was glad she did. Myu was a bit crazy… a lot crazy but she was kind to those she saw as friends. As such she was lucky to become Myu’s porter….

They soon came to an area where the ents were located. Thanks to her current quest being outrageous Myu was not going to have an easy time. “I give up I will just burn it down….” 

Myu had only just stepped into the forest and was already very impatient. She had not seen a single monster since coming to this place and it seemed that they were not willing to come out unless she burnt the entire fire to the ground. 

“Myu, just giv….” Tilly wanted to persuade Myu not to burn the entire floor down but it was already too late.

 The little fire starter had already raised her hands and shot flames out of her hands. A big maniacal smile formed on her lips as soon as she saw the flames before her eyes. “Trying to mess with me! Let’s see how many of you escape my flames!”

Tilly could only watch in horror as the forest in front of her was doused in red flames. She could even hear the screams of other humans within the flames. She wondered just how many climbers, even her own kin, were going to die on this day because her contractor was unable to hold back.

Myu could care less about any of that as she continued her flow of flames. She was making sure to control them just enough so that they would not spread out too far. Since she did not want to make Tilly sad. She did not flinch at the sound of people’s screams from within the flames. Or more like in her current crazed state, she did not care in the slightest for people whom she did not know, lives. For her, completing the quest was her ultimate goal. And it seemed to be working because every time an ent died she would get a message inside her head. 

“Hey! You little bitch what do you think you are doing!?” A voice came from the side, causing Myu to lazily turn her head and look at a group of young men and women all pointing their weapons at her.

Myu only gave them a quick glance before turning back to what she was doing. She decided they were not worth her time and energy.
