Hime laid down on her bed. Thanks to Gia, she had something to wear other than the clothes she had just cleaned. It was nothing more than a long white nightgown, while slightly loose on her in the chest area it was still better than nothing. 

“Nya~! This bed is so comfortable….” Hime paused and wrinkled her nose. “Have Nya been saying nya all this time…?” 

Hime couldn’t help but feel defeated. It seemed the catkin race was really working in on her. Her natural instincts were taking over her normal speech. And to make things worse, she had not even realized it until now. “Nya will just deal….” She gave up. It would be too much work to try to keep her normal speech just for it to take over again.

A knock came at her door. Causing Hime to purse her lips. She had no idea who would show up at this time of night so she went on guard as she got up and walked over to the door. “Hime, are you in? It’s Gia….”

“Gia?” Hime smiled and opened the door to see her cute new friend standing there in a similar white gown to the one she was wearing, along with a pillow.  “What brings nya here? Nya thought nya was going to sleep.”

“I…. I was hoping we could chat more. I have been alone all this time, so being able to talk with someone as I did today made me feel a bit lonely when I sat in my room.” Gia replied honestly with blushing cheeks.

Hime grinned, reached out, and pulled Gia into the room. “Then nyas can have a sleepover!” 

Hime pulled Gia over to the bed and sat her down before crawling up on it herself. Gia looked around the room to see that it was still quite empty besides the items that came with the room. Which she knew was to be expected since Hime had just come here. “Are you sure I can stay here tonight?”

“Mhm! As long as nya is fine with nya. Nya knows that Nya is someone who likes girls.” Hime made sure to remind Gia of what she was getting herself into.

“I know….” Gia nodded. She understood what Hime was like. She also did not mind it either. She timidly crawled up on the bed and placed her pillow down before lying down next to Hime. “This is my first time spending time at night with anyone. And a friend nonetheless. When you said we could form a team and explore the world together, it made me happier than I have ever been since I was young. Thank you, Hime.”

“Nya just needs to live Nya’s life. No need to worry about the small stuff-nya.” Hime reached out and took Gia’s hand and held it gently. She did not want to push anything, so she would wait to see if Gia would one day accept her.

“Mmm….” Gia yawned, her eyes were starting to feel heavy. Before she knew it, she was sound asleep. As for Hime, she slowly got up and helped adjust Gia so she was able to get under the covers before lifting the hem of Gia’s knight gown, giving a small nod before putting it back down and putting the covers up over her. 

She then made sure the door was locked before blowing out the candle and heading to be herself. She did not hesitate to snuggle up next to Gia and put an arm around her waist. She made sure not to do anything else and went to sleep feeling quite warm from the extra body heat.

The next morning Gia was the first to wake, only to find herself being hugged by Hime. She couldn’t help but blush since Hime was using her chest as a pillow and had somehow gotten both arms and legs around her body. Gia had no idea if Hime was dreaming or not, but her ears were twitching back and forth, as well as her tail. She smiled and reached up with her hand and gently scratched behind one of Hime’s ears, causing the twitching to stop. Hime’s breathing grew steadier, and she pushed more against Gia as she slept more peacefully.

Two hours later, Hime slowly woke up with sleepy eyes. She blinked a few times, trying to wake up a bit. When she felt the softness under her head, she reached up with her hand and squished it a few times before realizing what it was. She slowly tilted her head up to see Gia looking back at her with red cheeks. “Ah…. Umm… Good Morning-nya….” Hime, who still had her hand on the softness, said with a smile.

“Good…. Morning…. Umm… Hime… Hand….” Gia had never had someone touch her chest before, so this was her first time, and while she did not really hate it, it was still too embarrassing for her!

“Ahaha!” Hime let out a dry laugh as she gave the softness a nice squeeze before letting go and rubbing her nose. “Sorry… Nya err… Let’s just say instinct-nya….” 

“Right…” Gia nodded before clearing her throat and changing the subject. “Ahem…. We should wash our faces and go to the clothing store. Do you have money?”

“Money-nya? Yep, lots of that-nya.” Hime nodded. She really did have a lot of money. Enough to probably buy a few houses. It was just that she had no knowledge of this world and planned to explore it. Plus, she still needed to punch a certain god in the face.
