YITLOF: Ch: 34) Test! Part 3 (Patreon)

Naruto charged at Kakashi through a kick to his side which was easily sidestepped by kakashi. "Now Naruto…" Kakashi wanted to say something but Naruto had already followed up with a kick towards his head which Kakashi ducked then spun around while Naruto had his back to him. He made a strange hand sign as he yelled out: " Konohagakure Village's most secret and most sacred technique!!!!! One thousand years of death!"

Naruto only felt something jab him in his butt making him jump up in surprise before being sent flying towards the river. In the bushes not too far away, Hinata was rolling on the ground laughing. Next to her was Sakura while Yuki facepalmed as she mumbled: "Why the hell is he shoving his fingers up someone's butt? If he tries to do that to me I will kill him!"

A loud splash was heard as Kakashi stood up and sighed. "You know…. I have no idea what makes you think you can win by just charging in without a plan."

"Kage bushin no jutsu!" The water exploded as ten Narutos suddenly charged out towards Kakashi who once more sighed as he began lazily blocking Naruto's moves. He was quite surprised at how well Naruto was able to use the kage bushin no jutsu. But still Naruto was still too green. After quite a few round Naruto finally saw a chance and grabbed Kakashi from behind but as one of his shadow clones went to punch the captured Kakashi his shadow clone suddenly appeared resulting in him hitting his own clone!

"That idiot…." Hinata said as she stood up. She wondered why Naruto always had to act all over the place. He never stopped to plan ahead.

"I am glad you two dragged me away or i might have ended up like that…." Sakura sighed in relief.

"Well… I kinda figured something like this would happen." Yuki also let out a sigh. "Now then. The goal of this exercise is to work as a team. Kakashi tried to make it seem like this was a free for all kind of test but it is not. So if you want to pass this test we need to work together. For that…. Hinata, go drag Naruto over here."

"On it!" Hinata punched her fist into the palm of her hand as a devilish smile appeared on her face. She took a step forward and disappeared.

"Hey! Wait. Hinata! Ow! Don't hit me!" Naruto voice rang out and minutes later Naruto was dragged into the tree line  with a black eye.

Hinata looked at Yuki with a bright smile as she said: "Mission accomplished."

Yuki could only shake her head. She wondered why she was always beating Naruto up. "Ahem….." Clearing her throat she scanned her surroundings and nodded her head. She had guessed Kakashi would give them time to plan. But just in case she still checked her surroundings.

"First off Naruto I hope being stabbed in the butt will be a good lesson to you to never charge in without a plan. From this moment on we will combine forces and work as a team. So listen up." Yuki began going over the plan she had already worked out. She had been with every one here since young so she knew each of their weaknesses and strong points.

Each of them nodded their heads listening to Yuki's plan with serious faces. They knew now was not the time to be messing around. While they were talking Kakashi was sitting on a tree branch further away to make sure he could not hear them, with a look of approval on his face. "She should have just become a jonin…. But I guess this is good too. Both Sakura and Naruto will grow faster with her around."

Yuki clapped her hands and stood up as she used her toe to wipe away the images she drew on the ground to explain things. "Okay everyone has their roles. Move out!"

"""Yes!""" The other three shouted before bolting in different directions. Yuki also did the same. She already had a good idea of where Kakashi was but she knew this test was mostly for Sakura and Naruto so she wanted them to have a chance to understand that they too can finish the task at hand if they work together.

"You are really going all out today." Rukia's voice sounded off in Yuki's head.

"That is because those two have it in them to be amazing ninjas. While I may be new to this world and new to being a ninja myself I can still see it in them. I have always had a habit of watching those around me. Naruto while does stupid things he is quite capable. His earlier actions may be on the spur of the moment but if he was a bit more perceptive his attack with the shadow clones could have garnered hima  bell with ease. Sakura has amazing chakra control but still lacks strength. But to make up for that she also has the ability to react to a situation in a calm manner allowing her to make use of her talents to the fullest extent. One is rash while the other is calm. They will make a good team if they are ever trapped by themselves without Hinata or I there to save them." Yuki explained as she stopped on a tree branch at the location she had set in her plan.

"I see. Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me." Rukia sighed. She had seen Yuki grow over the years in both her ability as a ninja and a shinigami. She was mixing the two different paths together well and it has helped her a lot when facing hollows.

[It does seem I picked a good host this time around….] Khione mumbled faintly. But it was so quiet no one heard her words.
