“So these are the god killer cannons?” Regal asked with a look of interest.

“Yes and no. They were enough to harm Nergal but they could not kill her outright. If she had not been so worked up she might not have been stuck in the situation she found herself in.” Desaray explained. Currently, it was her, Juna, Oinktera, Lilly, Cinder, Yi Ling, her father, Kihone, Nix, Lilith, and Ullr, all standing with Regal as he gave a quick inspection of the cannons they had stolen.

“You really stole five of these things?” Regal asked with a raised eyebrow. “Such cannons would be considered legendary weapons back on my old world. These things have intricate systems and runic inscriptions.”

“Can you replicate them? Maybe even make them smaller like hand held?” Desaray was hoping for this the most.

“Should be easy since we can pull one apart and figure out how each part goes together. Once we figure that out we can easily create something newer and easier to use. You want to make those guns right? We can do that. With these we won’t need to use that other thing either.” Regal was actually glad he would never have to see one of those mana bombs going off.

“Keep people working on it. We may need it in the future. I hate to say it but sometime having weapons that can cause mass destruction can keep others from touching your lands.” Desaray did not like this fact, but it was a fact. It was how the world’s biggest countries kept themselves in power before the world changed.

“I know. I just hope it never comes to that. But yeah, give me and my crew some time and we should be able to whip up something here in the next few days. Luckily the construction seems simple enough. It is just the runic inscriptions we will need to work with but the writing is quite similar to mine own so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. With a bit of testing we may even be able to amplify the power and adjust a few things to make these ten times more powerful.” Regal was actually a little excited to be pulling something like this apart. He always loved seeing how other races did things.

“Then I leave these in your hands. But first figure out how they work. Once you do, have them set up a few around the capital. I want a fortified position just in case the worst happens.” Desaray did not want to take too many chances. While giving up one for research, she had to at least employ the other four until newer better ones were made.

“No problem, we will get right to it.” Regal clapped his hands and licked his lips. He was ready to get down to business.

“While you are doing that I guess I should get a few more levels but…” Desaray was not sure how she could go about doing that.

“Desa. If you wish you can leave to go to a higher level dungeon. With two gods and a goddess here to protect things I am sure things will be okay. Kihone and I can protect you while you go to a dungeon with a small group.” Lilith knew Desaray needed to level up. Her current strength was not enough yet.

“Mama, normally I would ask if I can go but can I stay and learn more about kingdom management?” Lilly had taken a keen interest in how the kingdom was run as of late. She had been reading many political books and wanted to learn more so she could help her mother more.

“If that is what you want. I will have you follow Rose then while I am gone. She can help explain how things are done and why. It will be good for you to learn all of this.” Desaray nodded and patted Lilly’s head. “When we do a rotation if you decide to come you can. It is also good to get your level up as well.”

Lilly smiled and hugged Desaray’s waist as she said: “I will do as Mama says.”
