“Let’s get an inn.” Yuki decided to stop here for the time being and talk with her wives.

“Are you sure? I don’t mind but there is not much to see here.” Rize did not see the need to stop in a city that was meant for those who had just reached the immortal realm.

“Mmm… I am in nor hurry to go to other places just yet. I want to check out the immortal realm and fight with some of the other immortals if I can. Killing some weak no buddies is not exactly my idea of a good time. Not that I want to kill anyone, but you know how this world works. Plus, I should spend some time working on my pill refinement.” Yuki had started working on pill refinement when she was trying to reach the immortal realm before being sent to the other world. But she was still new to it and was not up to par, as one would say, when it came to immortals.

“Then it would not be a bad idea to stay here for a while. The forest on both sides are filled with herbs for lower stage alchemist.” Now, Rize understood why Yuki wanted to stick around for a while. While she could get the herbs for Yuki easily, it was good practice to hunt for them yourself. Plus, it would give her a chance to fight with others over such herbs.

“Then let’s find a place to stay.” Yuki took Rize’s hand and pulled her along. Many people looked at the two as they walked the streets of West Wind City.

It was not a sight you would see every day. A fox girl with fifteen tails. Yuki had not even noticed herself that she had extra tails now. Rize did, but she kept quiet since she was used to seeing Yuki with more tails. These new tails did not really stick out as much as some of her others, but they still caught the eyes of the passerby since they looked extra soft for some reason.

Since Yuki was used to these types of stares, she ignored them as she walked around with Rize, taking in the new sights. While the city did not look much different from the cities in the mortal realm, the fluctuation of power she could feel here, and there told her she was in a realm where she could not be as careless.

In a sense, this excited Yuki very much, knowing that there were such powerful people here. Knowing that she could grow to new heights. Fighting stronger people will help her grow much more than always fighting those who are too weak.

Cultivation requires life and death experiences to forge forward. Her current cultivation method will good will not longer work now that she is in the immortal realm. It was not something that was supposed to be used for immortals. She needed a new cultivation method. Of course, she did not need to cultivate to play with her wives, but that was a whole different story.

“Rize, I just realized I do not have a cultivation method for the immortal realm.”

“Hmmm… I might have something for spiritual qi that will work for you but you will need to ask Delia for demonic qi. You merged your qis so it will be much slower now to raise your cultivation.”

Yuki frowned. This was true. Her immortal body, which was formed when she advanced to the immortal realm, had formed two colors: the right was golden, and the left was black. This meant she would need to cultivate twice as hard. While a dual cultivation technique might speed things up, she felt that it might not be as good now that she was an immortal.

“I will talk to Delia once we settle in. While id o wish to quickly raise my cultivation, as long as nothing serious happens Nana should be perfectly fine now that she can use Mana to stabilize herself.”

“The girl has plenty of cultivation methods. You have no idea how many she has stolen over the years. She is not just being hunted down by my family by the way. She has many enemies. She was a true terror.”

“Haha! Yeah I can see that happening. Delia used to torment her doctors as well.” Yuki smiled warmly as she remembered her past life. Delia would run around with an IV in her arm without a care while being chased by her nurses.

“I bet she has.” Rize chuckled. She never thought one day she would be sharing the same dao companion as Delia. Such a thought never crossed her mind.

“Hmm? Something smells good.” Yuki raised her head and sniffed the air. The scent of meat filled her nose. She turned to see a stall selling meat skewers, but this smell was out of this world, nothing like the mortal realm.

“Ah right I forgot to mention that the meat here are all infused with dense spiritual qi. It is very good for the body.” Rize took Yuki’s hand and pulled her along. “Let’s get a few.”
