“I will help then.” Lilith materialized a giant scythe and spun it around in her hands before resting it on her shoulder. “There is nothing like a good battle to form deeper bonds.”

Desaray looked at the excited look in Lilith’s eyes and shook her head before smiling. She had to admit… She was right! “Then shall we deepen our bond and see if we can kill an angel?”

“We shall!” Lilith was the first to fly off, and Desaray was not to be outdone before flying off as well.

A massive eyeball that looked more like a failed human experiment flapped its human skin-covered wings through the air. It’s massive eye moving left and right, not wanting to miss a chance to find a female soul trying to hide below. Its eye moved quickly but suddenly jerked to the skies in front of it. Two females of two different races were standing in the sky near it. The Angel’s only order was to devour souls. It preferred female souls over male souls, so having two females suddenly appear in front of it made the large eye shine.

“Your Highness, the best way to fight an Angel is by staying as far away as possible from it as you can. If it is able to get close to you, it will be able to snatch your soul out of your body. If you are strong-willed, it will only get a bite, but that bite is enough to cause some serious damage.” Liltih warned before spinning her scythe around and readying herself for battle.

“Understood.” Desaray slowly took a deep breath. “Ice Palace!”

Cold air swept across the forest, freezing the tree tops before the entire area, including the area where the Angel was, became encased in a palace made of ice. Desaray slowly let out her breath as she said: “Ice Throne….”

“Brrr! Chilly.” Lilith reached out to the side and stuck her hand into a crack in space that had formed and pulled out a long fur coat. “This is more powerful than I had imagined. If it wasn’t me, I am afraid, even those with max ice resistance wouldn’t be able to keep this cold out and would freeze to death.”

Desaray’s eyes flicker slightly. She really wished he wasn’t so deadly to those around her. Seeing Desaray’s mood change, Lilith scratched her cheek before reaching up and patting the Ice dragon on the head. “Don’t think too much about it. We will fix your aura, and at least while not in battle, you will not need to worry about harming others. Now, since you set the stage, we should deal with the enemy at hand or at least drive it off.”

“Drive it off?” Desaray asked.

“Hmm… while you might be able to freeze it with absolute zero, those things are not normal beings of the mortal world. You are not a true goddess yet. This means your skills will not fully kill a being of a higher plain. Especially Angels. These things are just annoying as hell. You have to obliterate it fully. I suggest using your dragon from this. Maybe your Dragon breath combined with spells might do the job. When matched with my Death magic, it might just be enough to kill it.” Lilith smiled as she flew up into the air toward the top of the ice palace.

Desaray thought for a moment before nodding. She wondered…. When was the last time she had been in her dragon form? Taking another deep breath, Desaray shattered her ice dress, causing sparkles of ice to fall towards the ground as she whispered softly: “Full Transformation…”

“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” A powerful roar filled the ice palace, shaking it to its very core. Lilith raised an eyebrow as she witnessed the scene before her. The small petite girl who was cute as a button had transformed into a massive dragon that scale of which could blot out the sky. If her ice place had not expanded to allow for her new form, she would not have been able to fit in this place at all. Luckily, it was still far enough away from the elven kingdom, so it did not harm any more elves.

The ice throne had somehow merged into her body, creating an ice armor over the massive dragon’s body. It covered the deep blue scales from the head to the tail. Desaray’s golden eyes shifted to the target in front of her, the massive eyeball that seemed to have stopped and was in a daze.

“Hmmm…” Desaray noticed something wrong. “Lilith, are these things supposed to start glowing red?”

“Red? No, they are only created to consume souls. They are just really hard to kill since they regenerate so fast.” Lilith took a closer look at the eyeball in front of her and frowned.

“What the hell!?” Lilith cried out. “The person who made these things is crazy!”

“Lilith, what the hell is going on? Why is there a voice echoing through the sky!?” Desaray had flapped her wings and was readying herself for what was to come next, but she really wanted some answers.

“The so-called god of this world seems to have made a system that will start a massive war between the gods of this realm when something that threatens the balance appears!”
