January 2023 Update (Patreon)

I usually bury that at the bottom but I want you to read it first instead of last.

We did it! Got through the first month! Now onto the rest of the year! Fug. 😅

So to quickly get things on. I managed to get sick the past few days. Some nausea and a sinus infection into an eye infection. My significant other gave me the nausea from a stomach bug they caught, but the sinus infection coupled with an eye infection is just par for the course with my luck. HOWEVER, I did get 70+ images produced this month! A good start, but I was hoping to break 80. I would've if it wasn't for health speedbumbs. 

The tragedy is that I have the next part of Freshman 15 art rendered (one shown above), but couldn't get it written up and posted neatly yet. So expect this during the next days to a week. Along with a file for the $5+ tiers containing an update of my work AND some more Jessie for everyone. I'm really sore about Jessie because there's several more images to be made, but my health got in the way of a sweet finale to the month. 

You'll also may (or may not if you don't care for it) have noticed no photo this month too for the update. Well, to really sweeten being sick. A winter storm sweeped into my part of the states locking things down. My day job was schedule for me to drive a bit so I was counting on that for some new photos. 

I'm beating myself up about this, but also I'm trying to focus on the 75 images part. That's really not bad. I did feel there was a good variety this month too. 

But okay less sulking more update! Now for some questions brought from the $15 tier requests.

Is Vanessa's pregnancy still following real world time? How far along is she now?

Yeah! Doing real world transformations has been something I've done cause I think that it helps me keep a character grounded and more real. Vanessa is due around mid to late February. She's really plumping up now. The question we should be asking is "How many are freaking in there?!!?"

Is there gonna be a comic you are looking forward to draw from a request or a comic you yourself are looking forward to draw for your Patreon?

There's a few. Freshman 15 is challenging to me, but fun when I have an 'aha' moment with the story. Tr-Eclipse is new, but I'm stoked for it. Even if it's not everyone's thing, I hope it ends up enjoyable. I also really enjoy when someone wants to know more about an OC. Requests that are very run of the mill or curious about a character get me going creatively.

How long do you usually take to render these monthly requests?

Really it depends on the request. If something is really indepth, complicated, or steps on canonicity. It gets me anxious about what to do about it. So, easy things? About a day or two. Harder things? Well... 😥
