I think it's high time to update you guys on what is going on with the game. The work on 0.1.3B is progressing, though not as rapidly as I hoped. There are several reasons for that:

1) I am simultaneously working on finishing my master's thesis and it's quite a time consuming, but I have a hard deadline on that halfway through July, and after that, I never have to worry about uni again.
2) Both artists I'm working with are very busy and art wasn't being done as fast as I anticipated.
3) My day job refuses to fall into any sort of COVID related economic decline and against all odds, I have more work than usual
4) Secretly working on a lewd game is not a simple task when stuck at home with other people

With that said I'm confident 0.1.3 will get finished before the end of July. I have over 500$ worth of work lined up with the main artist BagusR, and Nightingale has committed to finishing the upgrades to battle miniatures till about half of July as well. I will aim to implement the rest of the upgrades to the battle minigame as smaller mini-updates later on instead of letting that hold up the rest of the game. I meanwhile am working on finishing the paper doll code for the remaining characters, which proves to be challenging in its own way due to my lack of foresight (sometimes weapons are behind the character, sometimes in front, etc.), it is being done regardless.

I have seen some people worried about the story not progressing since the initial release and I HEAR YA. I think you will be very happy to hear that 0.1.3B is the last update to come out before 0.2.0, which as I said will add a huge chunk to the story. I've also seen at least one person worried that I'm just adding pointless stuff for the sake of adding stuff and won't use it ever, but I assure you, the inventory screen is an important part and I aim to use it a lot, that's why I wanted it to be as polished as it ended up being. Goctionni has done an amazing job and I love how it ended up. And to those worried that not much is being done, let me give you some numbers. What's changed since 0.1.2?

- over 300 new assets have been made for the game
- 20% growth in the amount of code driving the game
- Compression and cleanup of assets done to shrink the size of the game to less than 40% of its previous size (it's not the size of the boat!)

I know waiting for story progress while not much from player perspective happens is frustrating, I'm a player too! I've been there and felt the same frustration you do, but I don't want to end up in a situation where I'm limiting what I can do in the game because I don't have the tools to do it, or I'm using workarounds so crude, that fixing them later might be tripling up the work. Do you know how long I spent on the code for the old battle system just to end up with that mess? Weeks! That's cause I have no programming background and only through extreme patience and kindness of Goctionni am I actually learning useful stuff about coding :) Please remember this is really the first game and the first project of that scale I have ever done. When I started this I only knew the basics of the basics* and cleaning up my old garbage code is an important thing to do if we want to have a good platform to build on.

As for Patreon Polls, I have something lined up but I don't want to put something to vote before it's even halfway done, so please forgive the slowdown in those.

I hope you'll endure some more and come to appreciate the work that's being put into the backbone of the game. This Post is Patreon exclusive for a few days before it becomes public. If you have any doubts or questions, please reach out either in the comments or ping me in private on discord, whatever you're more comfortable with.

Love you all

*Up till like 0.1.2 I didn't know "elseif" is a thing and I was doing if functions inside if functions. If you don't know what that means just listen closely and you will faintly hear the sounds of multiple facepalms from the distance from those that do.
