Curry is amazing. Makes that 50 piece almost seemed easy. Especially when Klay and the rest of the starters get locked up or at least have a lot of difficulty. And whatever mess JP conjures up.

Most of those shots were insane. greatest show on earth right there

Some of these speculations about wiggs are just wild man. From wiggs getting diagnozed with cancer to one of his daughters being from someone else. Got me sick to my stomach

Kahlil Baker

It would be amazing if we signed another center!! Howard or Boogie PLEASE!! For fuck sake.

So many people saying the Ws played bad defense again, just don't see that watching back the film. They got rebounded, and guys made tough shots. They stuck to the gameplan of denying the three, but they just don't have the depth to compete with the clippers right now.

Best loss of the season for the simple fact that we might just avoid the Suns in the playoff with this loss

That uncalled sequence of Eric Gordon's Offensive foul -> double dribble -> travel was peak NBA reffing.

Is there anything that sticks out to you about Kawhi's game? He is such an interesting watch for me. Just a ruthless, efficient machine. Also to add onto that, what do you think motivates him to be so great? I feel like for all the true superstars in our game today, you can point to a reason. Guys like KD simply love the game. Guys like Lebron chase legacy. Guys like Steph play for the love of the game and to prove the haters wrong. Young guys like Luka, Embiid , and Mitchell are trying to earn their first major title and accolades to establish their greatness in the league Kawhi has all the awards and accolades, whether that is championships or DPOYs, so I can't see that motivating him at this stage of his career. Furthermore, I don't think he cares too much about gathering more of them to enhance his all-time ranking given the way he carries himself and due to some of his past decisions(Leaving a contender in Toronto that he just won with to go back to LA to stay close to his family). He definitely enjoys the game, but doesn't appear to love it as strongly as the other stars(From many interviews, he mentioned he doesn't watch basketball in his free time. Only watches neccessary film) You could argue he is just that talented, but there is no way you can be one of the 7 best basketball players in the world without having something greater pushing you to maximizng your talent. The most recent example of this is how strongly he has bounced back from a major injury like an ACL tear. So what do you think pushes to be the dominant force he is?

Storm hit out here my direct tv froze on me for bout 90 seconds. I only caught the end of the challenge

iggy ty for your service. broken wrist dang dude, hopefully it was not the writing wrist. lots of lessons this season. it’s funny how the refs don’t call on steph yet give the treatment to lizard. the refs are making a theater performance. when you see what’s happening the world with palestine ohio chemical fallout, the reintroducing of child labor in the US, the bank bailout of SVB , jan6 cops involvement, and the millions protesting in France, basketball looks less like a puppet show🎬 wiseman isn’t the only thing in detroit to be concerned with, yall should look into its manufacturing history

Was a total no call, so nothing to challenge. You actually put that play towards the end of that video. The one where he picks up the ball, pivots, extends his arm into DDV to push off, drops the ball, picks it up again, travels, and then shoots a layup.

Everyone wants to be remembered as an all-timer. I doubt he's an exception. There's a world where he gets 1 more title and his status on that legendary board skyrockets, especially since he would flourish in any Era. I think this is his biggest motivation. If the love of the game was his primary driving force, I don't think he'd be so frequently load managing - however, there's no way he makes the jump in offensive talent that he did from his rookie season without the love for his craft and the game itself.

My question is if he cared so much about his legacy, why would he leave Toronto then ? They were the perfect team for him to stay on and go back-to-back with. Instead, he went to LA so he could live closer to his home in San Diego, prioritizing family over his accolades

He definitely loves the game, there is no question about that. I just find it interesting that players of his caliber usually have an obsession with the game and spend most of their time either playing it or watching it casually. By all accounts, Kawhi treats it as a job. He doesn't watch the game leisurely. He has the "clock in, clock out" mentality. Yet he is still so dominant He is quite an anomaly.

Good point, and I've stated before with Alc on the pod back then I think it was a huge mistake and a miscalculation. However, we've seen that these Stars, LeBron, Harden, KD etc be awful in the GM department. That Raptors squad had no stars in Kawhi's eyes and his demand for the Clips was to get him an All NBA talent with two way abilities. PG13 apparently from later reports was his 3rd choice. Balmer also has been arguably the best owner willing to spend at every opportunity, case in point this deadline where he spent even deeper into the tax for even just marginal upgrades that no other owner was willing to spend. We have to remember, the first year he was with the Clips they were seen as favorites and by many but the bubble proved to be catastrophic for them then he got hurt and had additional operations. The Raptors that year were in the lottery, hence the Scottie Barnes selection.

Wiggins we need you wherever you are = (

Yeah going against the Clippers without Wiggins and GPII is going to be tough. Especially with Andre out and Kuminga just back from the ankle. No one really designated for that wing defense on Kawhi and PG.

2023-04-27 10:23:54 It isn't a sure bet that having Wiseman on the floor would've made a difference. He will be great in a few years I guess. Right now the 7-footer refuses to accept his role in an NBA team. Saturday: Pacers won. Outrebounded the Pistons. Wiseman: 9 rebounds & 1 block. Obviously the coaching staff pointed this out. Monday also vs the Pacers, Pistons won. Wiseman: 14 rebounds & 3 blocks. Thursday: Nuggets won. Wiseman: 9 rebounds & 0 blocks. JMG - He's got to hustle, hustle, hustle. Whatever he's doing currently won't be sufficient for the playoffs. Bjelica was average almost the entire season then improved & was ready for the playoffs. Happy that he got a ring.

12 turnovers in the first half isn't going to cut it

God I'm so fed up with Poole's lack of defence. Trade him!
