Steph and klay needs to shoot more mid range especially Steph. He has become too predictable because he always look for the blow by heading to the rim or stepping back for 3’s. His mid range is so effective I don’t understand why he doesn’t do that more when he goes iso.

Not only is Ja carrying the ball but on his jump passes, he’s coming down with the ball before letting it go and it isn’t being called at all. Ja is too comfortable out there. Walking up to get shots, there’s no resistance by GS. He needs to constantly be put into pnr actions and screens. He’s not really working on the defensive end either aside from a few possessions. Poole needs to come back off the bench. Let Moody start. He’s a willing shooter and I like his effort on D. We have to try different things, cause so far the in game adjustment on the fly didn’t cut it. Last thing, I don’t understand how veterans can know Memphis is biting on every shot attempt and selling hard on close outs. Pump fake, 1-3 dribbles into an open shot works just fine. Klay pump faked in game 1 to take the lead. They’ll find themselves more in rhythm off the dribble. I believe the shots will fall, but it’ll take more mental toughness and focus than physical. Obviously Brooks’ reckless bullshit cannot go unanswered, but hopefully our response doesn’t escalate the conflict further… it’s already getting dangerously out of hand. Diving at Ja’s knee isn’t going to bring GP2 back sooner. Maybe JTA or Bjeli sends a message with a hard screen early in game 3, then we leave it alone…let our wisdom n experience find a way to use their youthful aggression against themselves. Shocking that we’ve seen so many years of curry rules and teams chipping him up over the course of a series but we don’t use the same game plan against a small guard like Ja. He’s way too comfortable out there. We need to make him “feel us”. Dray and Steph both seem to respect ja and co-sign him as being next up - but we HAVE to dial up the physicality

Absolutely. Far to easy to guard. He's been a ball stopper who doesn't score. When he gets the ball and waits and starts looking around it's easy for the defense to hug up on their man an play the passing lanes because they know what he's trying to do all he want's to do is make a flashy pass and he's turning those over too much. They know that backdoor is coming and those passes get stolen multiple times a game and Draymond keeps trying to squeeze those in to sometimes non-existent windows. There was one where he just threw a pass in anticipation of Steph cutting through and there goes the possession
