I think clay would be a great baby sitter!

Alch, do you think Steph finds more rhythm off the dribble or off a pass/screen from Draymond? I’m asking cause a lot of star-level scorers in the league seem to have go-to moves to find rhythm and create space. Obviously, Steph has the ball on the string but it seems he doesn’t necessarily have the physical attributes of someone like a Durant or quickness of a Poole, etc., but it kinda looks like the way Draymond finds Steph (and Klay), screens them open, or does his signature: run the break, stop in front of a defender and toss the ball to a trailing Steph, it almost feels like Draymond helps jump-start Steph into rhythm, as opposed to Steph trying to find it himself. Is that what makes Draymond the best ceiling raiser in the game? A DPOY who then goes down and boosts everyone’s offense, including two of the greatest shooters of all time. I dunno if that all makes sense… Great breakdown, per usual, my guy

Maybe a better way to articulate it is similar to how you said Beli-fly boosts the opposing team’s offensive confidence because he’s Swiss cheese on D. Do you think Steph just feels more comfortable coming off a Dray screen or pulling off a Dray pass?

I think that’s why he developed the hair trigger release. He doesn’t have great burst or a irky jerk game.. he is quick but relative to other nba stars not really. He has mastered finding a rhythm with his feet long before the shot comes, whether that’s come off a pin down or walking the ball up.. it’s 5-6 steps before the shot

Klay isn't the same person he was prior to the injuries. He has had enough down time to soak in so much of the love and hype around his own name. We also tend to remember Klay from the younger years, but his last year with KD he already came in from the offseason looking to ISO more and show off what he'd been working on in the lab. He didnt like all the chatter about his lack of handle or ability to finish above the rim or that he was seen as a pure off ball shooter. But its okay...when fully healthy again, and his body adjusts, this version of Klay and the Warriors may even be more dangerous. Cuz as great of a 3rd quarter killer Curry is, maybe top 10 all time, he is not an elite 4th quarter closer... this new version of Klay + the emergence of J-Poole looks like the answer to that void

The most obvious indicator of Draymond's value is how deep the team feels now after adding just ONE player. As long as he stays healthy from here on out with no conditioning issues, this injury will have been 100% worth it considering the opportunity it gave JK and Moody, now all of a sudden DLee is getting played off the court and we're gonna have to search for GP2's minutes when he returns. Only problem with this much depth is how little time they have to figure out consistent rotations. Much like with the human body, regularity is key!

I've had friends with bulging discs. The docs told them they could have surgery or try to work on their stomach muscles (most back problems are apparently linked to weak abdominal muscles). My assumption is that Draymond make the latter choice. I have watched Wiseman at Santa Cruz. Offensively he looks good but defensively he has been terrible. He can't figure out when to close on a shooter and when to hang back and pick and rolls victimize him consistently.. I still like his long term prospects but this year he isn't going to be much help against NBA bigs. I agree that Beli is a big liability when he has to defend one on one but Draymond's presence can help with that, and his offensive contribution is substantial. I actually hope he doesn't lose minutes to JW in the playoffs.

Hopefully he'll be better at defense with Draymond barking at him ...

You think JP will have a better career than CJ McCollum? I think the real test of JP is to see how he may or may not change once he gets his first bag. You think they are holding JWise back cuz they are afraid it will be too much to figure out in terms of rotations and chemistry before playoffs?

I always have to laugh in these moments when you roast the looks of an opposing player.. KP in a wheelchair lmao, that one took me out

with curry out, is Klay gonna glaze over 1000% and will we see JP try to grow wings and go Batman on us? from a very optimistic silver lining persepctive, this will create space for klay, jp, wiggs, kuminga, moody, drey, and even wiseman to step up more and then hopefully have the team surging without the chef for his return? hopeful!
