We really back

Siddhant S

That Kuminga free throw looked pure last night, amazing how quickly this kid worked on his weakness.

Anonymous

We need those black an yellow kuminga jerseys on the market

Anonymous

Love what we’re seeing from Kuminga goddamn

Anonymous

80M's for poole is crazy bruh. Joey pockets aint playing around

Anonymous

How the fuck is Wig WORSE at free throws this year... I mean maybe he's expending a bit more energy on defense with Dray out, but he's way too talented to be regressing like this. Could be a huge problem in the playoffs. They gotta have joku give him a "lesson" on making them and maybe his pride will take over... probly not tho lol

Anonymous

He's addicted to winning, wants to keep it going for another decade

Anonymous

just grateful JWise is back, in terms of peaking at the right time, Kuminga as you said is really finding his way in our system, may be a blessing the Drey is out for JWise to feel the need for his presence, and then get JWise rollin and then bring the loudest voice in the room back once everyone feels solid in their role, sounds good, we'll see!

This felt like a game where Moody could have gotten more minutes....

Anonymous

I totally agree. Beli, JTA & Cheese ought to be emergency and/or last 3 mins of garbage time only. Like to see more Moody.

“Dirty socks”….Gratitude onya, Alch! Any chance of Wiseman GLeague breakdown?

Ezra Abbey

steph was on some lebron shit all game, he was manipulating the blazers all night, one my favorite games of his this season

Chip Tingle

Whew, just heard 66 bench points!

Portland is now OKC north.

Actually was interested in this matchup given so many new faces. Dubs didn’t disappoint!

LMAO @Chauncy looks like a penis... that came out of nowhere from the left field

Wiggins is 48.8% from the free throw line in the last 20 games…something to monitor even if he’s at 2 ft per game…it would be nice if he could go at the rim more frequently…him and poole are basically the joker cards in the playoffs

Jello Smooth

Does anyone think someone will offer Wiggins the Max if we don’t offer it to him… Unlike Gordon Hayward God rest his basketball prime - Gordon was the leader of a playoff contending team. Wiggins . He got a big contract.. Wiggins maybe 22 mil a year max… I like the 2way wigs… but I am not putting a ring on it….

Jello Smooth

Lastly - Kuminga must be NEO. How else do you explain snorting into the. Delivering execution like that… sometimes he makes the adjustment in game.

Seeing how much kaminga continues to improve. With my conspiracy hat on; how possible is it that they're keeping dray out longer(possibly for the playoffs) to allow JK to get his maximum playing time to develop? Dray probably could come back now. But our record allows us to get him rest, develop Koopa, get wiseman right. Just a thought

Natto Santo

Kuminga has that kobe’s look, he is thinking about the game not just playing but really thinks about the game.

Anonymous

I agree. I'm thinking maybe some load management for Wiggs and Loon down the stretch...to maintain/bump up Kuminga and Wise minutes. If we settle deep in the 2nd seed (way behind PHX/way ahead of Griz)....seems like we should consider mixing it up down the stretch to get the youngs more minutes.

Anonymous

Being that he is a 2 way wing who doesn’t demand the ball, I think it will be like the gets way more money then most would think. Unless he was joining a young, winning team with money to throw around, he is probably not getting the max. Like, would the cavs or grizzlies not give him 4 years/100 mil?

Anonymous

That is the exact same conspiracy theory I've been ruminating on myself. Funny

Anonymous

Grizz have an easier schedule They have decent odds to take control of the 2nd seed I like the load management idea though

Jimmy Ji

If we are willing to give Poole 4yrs/80 mil, I think that means Wiggins is done with the Warriors after his current contract expires. Considering how much its going to cost to retain him and the number of young guys we gotta give minutes to, we should probably look to move Wiggs next season and get some draft capital.

Love the way Steph, Klay and Kuminga played this game, a perfect mix of scoring and passing with defense. Klay isn't as balanced as he was on his 3 now but it's coming, and this version is passing! Totally agree that last night Steph passed and really didn't have to overexert himself because of it. Kuminga is the future, we should all watch every little growth because we will be talking about him for decades. His free throws have improved, he's changed the wrist release, it's looking more hand in a cookie jar now. Shows the kid is working and is teachable.

Anonymous

The way Kuminga is improving I'm getting more and more comfortable with the idea that Wiggins may be gone once his contract is up. If they want to pay both Poole and Kuminga (not to mention Wiseman too presumably at some point) then something has got to give somewhere. For the here and now though Kuminga playing the way he has is also great as we don't ahve to expect from Wiggins what he mostly can't or won't provide. 15-20 has been pretty consistent but if Kuminga is getting good minutes and producing efficiently then we don't even need that routinely from Wiggs either,

Yall see JW assigned to santa cruz

Doesn’t tie his shoes??? With limited money I’d rather have Porter than Wiggins next year. I have a different take from Portland than you do. How many good players are sitting on NBA benches? Simons, Hart, both look like legit good players who might never have had an opportunity except for the Blazers tanking for draft picks. I’d trade Lillard if I could get 2 or 3 serviceable players. The Lakers amassed a coven of Hall of Famers; the Blazers are lucky they don’t get stopped by the security guard outside the Arena; but who will have the better record in the second half? With his size and speed Kuminga is almost as good a defender as Wiggins NOW. What will he look like in 2 years?

Anonymous

One thing I've noticed with Simon's is the ball doesn't stick like it does with Lillard, it's really impressive for a guy that young to quickly decide whether to attack or move the ball. I'd completely trade Lillard and just full on rebuild

Nice win...but I'm trying not to rush to any conclusion after one game against a "not zo strong" opponent
