Odds of the warriors making a mid season trade before the deadline? As exciting as it would be, I just dont see it happening..

Looking forward to the pod! Do you think Kerr will sacrifice winning during the second half of the season in favor of: resting players/getting healthy, test different rotations, give kuminga/moody/wisemen starter minutes to expedite growth/experience?

Paul Hanson

Very much looking forward to the new pod! How about: mid-level or buy out candidates you’d like to see replace Beli on the squad? It’s too bad b cause we all liked how Beli started out-to me his confidence is shot and he’s a bit out of shape. Also-can Kuminga be a better Draymond substitute than Iguodala for the time Dray is out? Thank you

Hi Alc! Big fan from Hong Kong for years. Managed to witness with my own eyes our team literally dismantled the harden-led rockets on my first trip to the States in 2019. Best trip ever. I like our defense this year but it does seem like from time to time our players commit too much energy on it and just run out of gas on the other hand. Our firepower is simply too inconsistent at the moment (no disrespect to my boy chef god). Do you think our coaches should adjust our offensive strategies and run something more through Steph (instead of Kerr’s masterful “system”)? I just think sometimes our plays are too “smart” for their own good and we just need to cut the bullshit and let our superstars go to work and have 2 or 3, hell even whole team screening for Steph to launch. At least if we go down we go down trying and the way many prefer. Huge love for your work as always.

John Pettus

Other than bailing on Bjeli, I don't know what we would do. Our system is not as plug and play as PnR.

Three years from now, do we give Steph a farewell tour with our young core in the wings? Do we give it to all 3 of the big 3? What happens if they fall off at different rates?

Looking back at the 2020 draft, do you think Wiseman was the best option?

Because of how spoiled this franchise has been, it has the audacity to look not only through but past the current title window. There's no way to know what Curry or Klay will be 3 seasons from now, and idea that Kuminga/Poole ran team is going to be anywhere in the same vicinity as this dynasty is precisely an indication of the lack of comprehensive of how special this current core is. Franchise fkux, no one's good forever and rebuilds are inevitable, and it okay, but worrying about it now in the middle of a season where we are considered a serious threat for the chip? This is a fools errand

Andrew Wiggins has been amazing for us during his tenure here in the bay, but with his contracting ending soon will we be able to keep him after the league seeing his production? And if we do end up paying him another max or close to it, is it worth jeopardizing us being able to retain our future in Poole, Kuminga, Wiseman and Moody? I don't know how bird rights and contracts work but it seems rather inevitable that we will have to choose between the 2 scenarios very soon, possibly even next year.

Kevon Looney = The Squeaky Fundamental? - he gives you what he's got, he shows up with his fundamentals, but always looks like he needs an oil change.

What do you think Jordan Poole's ceiling is?

Can we get an updted assessment of Moody now that he's has been getting run in the G league, averaging 30+ ppg,?

Philip Heston

Can’t wait for the new POD Alc!, given the recent news on Wiseman, when do you think we should pull the plug on him and who do we try to go get for a solid center piece and how much should we give up?

When do you think Father Time will catch up with Steph?

Anonymous

I still believe the suns are the scariest team for us in the west for the playoffs, but curious if you agree? Also, im slightly nervous if we’ll have enough to beat a team like Milwaukee or Brooklyn in a 7 game series. And how do you feel about wiseman? I think his lack of feel will only end up with him still not looking great whenever he ends up coming back. Excited for the next pod! Keep doing your thing

Do we even want this summer another rookie with a guaranteed contract considering tax situation or better to trade 1st round peak away. Loved Hezi, looking forward to new podcast.

Do you think Steph still has a shot for MVP? What does he have to do to get into the conversation again?

paul reboca sr

Alc now i see that belly really doesn't have a place with this team, he is foul prone and he is a frustrated player out there.

Yo! Declare 11/30 a Bay Area holiday, my boys are back. Can’t wait to see the trio healthy.

Pod name: "In the Zone with Athletic Alchemy" Also, Dell and Sonya's divorce and cheating-accusations are a bigger deal than we think. Steph's hero is his dad and that image has been shattered. I think he can't shoot or get into the zone because of this. Also, like another person mentioned, the motion offense isn't as "plug-and-play" as PnR. We've brought in so many decent shooters (Caspi, Jerebko, and now Bjelica), acquired ready-to-play talent (McCaw, Evans III), and skilled journeymen (Oubre), only to see them fail. IMO, our offense doesn't allow anyone to really get a rhythm except for Steph, Klay, vertical spacers, slashers, and now JP. Essentially, how can you get into a rhythm if you're not using your skills to probe the offense and create? Getting everyone involved in the offense is marketable, but not always translatable especially if you're asking talented players to sacrifice their style of playing for "the greater good."
