Welp, Giannis found the gear needed to give the Bucks a chance. That said, Jrue and Middleton can't be this sorry on both ends, too many layups and helping 1 pass away for solid shooters.

funny how budenholzer still probably retains his job after this..if they lost in the conference semis, bud would've been gone and things would've looked brighter for next year

Alc, didn’t Forbes play for the Spurs? That would explain why he has good team defence. Plus he plays his part well with a good mentality.

Just like athleticism, you can't teach IQ. The Bucks are a low IQ team, there isn't anyone in particular holding the team accountable because none of them know what the plan is on defense. After watching the Bucks in the playoffs, I really did learn to appreciate Draymond just a little bit more.

Second e40. Have some well practiced well oiled defensive schemes and offensive plays. The sun's just look like the better team all round. When the bucks blow up a sun's play, a new play or set initiates right away when CP or booker are out there. The bucks just throw it to Giannis or Middleton and pray for the best.

Yup, basketball IQ is the thing needed for better team play. But mostly on defense. That's why I'm amazed that folks call for Draymond to be traded after a few Stinky games. But there aren't many players with such high basketball IQ. That's why players like Rondo are so valuable I think. Ok, preferably you want a mix of IQ and athleticism. Crazy athleticism but low IQ....will get you far, but not a championship (Westbrook, Giannis)

Great breakdown as always Alch. Coach Nick had an interesting one too that really showed how the Bucks aren't even running the basic plays that they have in their bag for Jrue to try and get going. Almost everything he shoots is harder than it needs to be. Despite these two pretty decisive wins I expect the Bucks to steal a game at home though. The injuries continue to be concerning. Two games two injuries. A damn ACL tear for Saric at that, hopefully the knee isn't so bad for Craig but I don't expect him back in the season.

Bud simply sucks, I don't understand how this team consistently over helps and gets killed by the same thing. Realistically, this is over. With middleton playing soft as usual its just not enough. Bucks decided to lock themselves into a ton of guys that don't show up in big games. I haven't seen Bud try to even get middleton a good look and not only that, I don't think he's made it easy on any of the guys out there. You're a 100% right with the fact that the bucks have to get desperate and try to get some more offense with forbes or somebody on that bench. We all know adjustments and budenholzer are never said in the same sentence.

Yes, I like coach Nick as well...a steady diet of Alch, Nick and that guy Daniel Li. So if Alch and Nick see those gaping holes in the defense..... surely the Bucks can find a way to fix that..
