It would be great to see CP3 to finally get a ring. Only thing is he won’t get any hate in regards to the health of the NBA right now. Compared to the Warriors who got all the hate because players were injured🤦🏾‍♂️

Anonymous

Lord knows why Ballmer was tryna get the double handy off live on 4K TV

Anonymous

First off congrats to the Suns... But I wonder if Booker feels some type about Cp3 stealing the shine in this closeout game when he's been lowkey shit this series til this game... Almost certain he's going for finals mvp... He definitely has to leave that mask on cause that PG elbow, I thought he was done DONE smh... We shall see...

Anonymous

This is going to be a low rating finals

Jimmy Ji

Don't jinx it Alch, CP3's bad hammy will flare up at any moment now.

John Z

That Ballmer shit was wild lol. Boogie has got to realize at some point, he can't keep playing dumb. Also feel ya on the fan stuff, just enjoy basketball that you are seeing, enough of the petty shit.

Anonymous

CP does deserve credit for that closeout. Do i fuck w him? hell no. But people are just hating if they don't think hes WAY more likable now for joining this young Suns squad. On another note, is Ibaka on a campaign to take worst fashion in the league away from Russ? Lol damn his fits have been suspect this whole post season

Anonymous

Playing Ayton the entire 2nd half really sealed the fate of the Clippers. Boogie wasn't gonna do anything against him, especially considering injuries making Boogie a shell of himself.

Anonymous

Clippers were just trying to play dirty and usually the team that needs to do that is aware that they are less talented. Pat Beverly is the dirtiest player in the game and he should get fined for the middle schooler meltdown he had. How many injuries or near injuries could you realistically pin on Bev? It's super frustrating to watch.

Anonymous

It does make me wonder in the what-if thought. If there was a healthy Klay, could the Warriors have contended this year? Honestly, health is a huge issue and not saying they are the favorite, but it would have been fun to watch. Here's hoping to an injury free next year for all teams! Side note, it actually was better for the Suns that Beverly got thrown out, I was thinking he would have caught someone mid air in the game eventually...

Thomas Ogas

After CP3's year at OKC, and then his coming to PHX (a non-playoff team), he's a much more likable guy. Yeah, I hate his flopping and his two-faced BS, but I respect the hell out of his BBIQ, his passing, his leadership, and his toughness. Enjoyed him beating LAC. Enjoy him getting a ring before Harden. And will enjoy watching GSW beat the suns next season.

I still think Payne gives the Suns a better pace, but when CP3 takes over, it doesn't matter, I guess. It's hard to root for him, but it's nice to see the Suns advance despite how much I despise the dude lol

Anonymous

If they win it won't matter, I guess. But yeah, I think Paul has been hunting for his a bit too much. It paid off in G6, but it'll cost them games in the finals.

Paul Hanson

Absolutely happy for Chris Paul-he's a great player who has paid his dues. I don't love the flopping and some of the stuff he's done in the past but I completely agree that you have to respect the man for his career and play. The Suns have that fun glow similar but not identical to what the 2014-15 Golden State Warriors had-it's fun to see a fan base energized even when Shannon and Skip still can't get off of talking about Lebron. I like Camerony Payne and find it amazing his ride to this point. Cam Johnson-always hits a timely 3 when it's needed. And Deandre Ayton-he's playing great and he is fun to watch. The Suns are fun to watch. I can enjoy this while I wait for the Warriors get back to the top. Again-the Suns this postseason reminds me of May and June 2015-but I believe the Warriors are different and special. They changed the game-well, Steph did-but it's the magical cast of characters they had that all came together. We'll see if the Suns stay this special for a Finals run and whatever happens next year.

athleticalchemy

good call.. he did extend him at the right time.. also knowing we get it done and he will have plenty of rest

athleticalchemy

Im not sure as constructed we would have had enough frontcourt depth.. but I guess you could argue KO spot would have been another big

athleticalchemy

Payne puts more pressure on the defense.. but having Boogie out there for so long I think really let get going

Anonymous

how did I miss that Ballmer handy on TV. that shit was funny

Great breakdown as always. The Suns thoroughly deserve this just been a great team all season long and less impacted by injuries this post season. As to CP3. He's certainly more likeable now than he has ever been but damn he plays with fire every time he flops. He may eventually get himself a career ending in jury out of it at his age. As to the Dubs, now way they get anywhere in this post season. Shrunk down to an 8 man rotation half of which is g league players basically, not cutting it. The defense was always suspect to me, effective at times but I wouldn't have bet on it in the playoffs. Way too small to compete regularly on the boards and giving up way too many 3s by trying to pack the pain with midgets lol. Even if Kerr had wanted to start switching more this roster just isn't capable of it. Missing the playoffs was the best thing that could have happened cause I can also bet that at least 1 player on the squad would have got injured.

Watching CP3 winning a chip (and probably a fmvp regardless of how book plays) is like seeing the villain of the movie wins, no way in hell I root for him. I also kinda doubt the warriors are capable of reloading this post season, we are super tight in terms of cap space and we really don't have the best assets. If the warriors want to get to the level of this Suns team Bob Myers will have to become basketball Jesus and work miracles, which I doubt will happen

Anonymous

Yah man I’m weirdly happy for CP

Anonymous

How?? This Suns team partly got out the West because of the injury riddled teams, the Warriors have alot of options this off-season with the picks and free agency.

Anonymous

Alc, I listened to your top 5 dudes u wouldn't mess with list on Hezi. I realize you can't say PJ Tucker 5 times, but the answer is PJ Tucker 5 times. He's always been just a huge dude w a face that says he's not going to put up w your mess. But now he's the first player where private security was like uhh I'm afraid for my clients life during a game ! And that client was the notoriously tough 18th St brawler, KD, no less

Anonymous

I cannot stand the demeanor of Chris Paul. Sun is likely to win, and if that is the case, I hope Booker get the MVP. I can imagine some haters will start argue that CP is better than Steph because the latter has no Final MVP award (yet).

Shea Johnson

Hey @unclealch, totally unrelated but I saw the trade Wigs and Wise for BI and Steven Adam’s and kind of really like it, what are your thoughts?

Anonymous

Because our team right now is basically a g-league team? Klay Thompson suffered two of the worst injuries in sports back to back, Green is useless, Wiseman won't be ready until year 3, Wiggins is who he is and he will never elevate to the next level, everybody else is barely in the NBA. Steph is our only legitimate, trustable basketball player, without him, we probably win 5 games in total last season. If you look at this Suns team, their overwhelming fire power, playmaking and depth, the coexistence of youth and veteranship, I can't see us reaching that level, unless Myers turns this team around acquiring multiple pieces that are ready right now

Anonymous

I'd add Jokic too after what I saw from him in that g4. Booker was shook

Anonymous

Not a fan of BI, Adams may be the best human being in the league but as a player on the court he obviously has his limitations and doesn't really fit what the Warriors need.

Anonymous

Just realized something Alch. I've been a fan of yours for 3 years and I've never asked. You originally from the Bay Area. What brought you to Arizona?

athleticalchemy

Came out here for a fresh start.. was into all sorts of trouble as a young adult. Really forced me to grow up and chose my own path...plus it was sooo much cheaper being a young family.

Anonymous

Agreed, I dont want to fall into the same trap that the Pels did. Adams is a great player, but he cant just be plopped willynilly into any lineup. Need to be aware of how much his presence can disrupt your spacing on offense

Anonymous

I need dem draft breakdowns lol
