Isaiah Roby is just Aaron Gordon if he never went through puberty

Wiggins finishing that layup against dort in transition was probably the most touch i’ve seen him use off glass

Love the flex into the Nets/Nuggets, was watching last night and had the same thought on Griffin. Wonder how much the return of Harden changes the rotations

Beal v curry going crazy 🔥

"Yeah its fucked up what I'm doing ain't it" 😂😂😂😂 your commentary is hilarious TNT needs to fire Chris Webber and give you that job instead bro

Anonymous

"Look at it and you can see, he jammed ALL them bitches" 😂 😂 😂 😂 you got at least 3 great jokes/puns per video

Kd is still as great as a scorer after the injury....but his first step to get separation or getting by people is not as reliable...it was obvious yesterday and against the bucks...it will be interesting to see if it matters that much in the playoffs...

Utah most likely without Conley and Mitchell for Monday, Warriors should have the advantage. With Memphis currently tied in the L column, I think Warriors can lose one of the next 3 and still clinch the 8th as long as they beat Memphis in the final game of the season. I can't tell if OKC is just that bad on defense but it felt the team's chemistry has improved ever since Kerr decided to shorten the rotation.

Jokic was getting mauled all game dude's super disrespected, they cut to his arm in the game and he was straight bleeding and was all scratched up. Nets also got a super underrated pickup with mike james, dude is a bucket and was on of the best players in europe.

Lol yeah no joke jokic gets 0 calls. Dude should shoot 15 free throws a game

Shea Johnson

Went to my first warriors game last night. Steph is even more unreal in person

The Ref Voice was 5 stars Alc.

How the Warriors can finish 7th: The Lakers will lose their next three games: Portland, Suns, Knicks. The Warriors would need to find some way to win two of the next three (Thunder, Jazz, Suns). The Lakers would need to lost two of their last three (Rockets, Pacers, at New Orleans) The Warriors would need to beat the Pelicans and Memphis. Thus the Lakers would finish 38-34. The Warriors would have the same record. I’m assuming that Conference record is the tie breaker, which, in this scenario, the Warriors would have a better number. Much of this seems likely except that the Warriors would need to beat either Phoenix or Utah, admittedly a longshot. In the first Thunder game the play with 4:07 left in the 3rd qtr was representative. JTA passes up an open three….and the whole possession blows up with Draymond yelling at JP for not shooting. The team would be better off if JTA shot a lower percentage!

Nick Wright explained on his Twitter why media hates on joker. They don't want him to win MVP coz "He's not marketable"

Gsw4L

He had a stretch of four games without getting single foul. For comparison Joel has five such games in his entire career

athleticalchemy

might be.. it wouldn't surprise me if he comes back looking like PG next year I think he could have a similar career arc .. although PG shot is pure same tools

athleticalchemy

I think we might see Ky struggle to find his rhythm the most KD is accustomed to getting his off the ball at this point. But Green and Blake feel like they are locks to stay in the Ro

athleticalchemy

thats what it is! I keep seeing him off balance and Im waiting to see if he jsut has too get his legs under him still

athleticalchemy

I believe the tie breaker is owned by the Lakers from our H2H match ups.. But yeah JTA needs to let it fly..especially when steph is off the floor

I'm not sure if Steph *is turning* into an iso god. I think he was an iso god in 2016, and he tuned it down for the team afterwards. This year, with him being the only outstanding scoring threat on the team, I'm glad he's turning back into his old form. I've always thought Steph's offense gets the team's offense going, instead of the other way around. Get him going early is key to a successful offensive game.

That's amazing that you could lip read what that ref was saying to the Warriors bench when he had his hand cupped to his mouth (wink).

Chamique Holdsclaw 😂😂😂 you messed me up with that one Alch

I'm loving the Steph vs. Beal side story. And u know Steph is hunting. I still have a very outside hope that the MVP goes to Steph, you know the voters have loved him in the past, I know it's a long shot with our win total but Joker is fading without Murray.

Russ

So agree with JTA shooting the 3 when he's open without Steph on the floor, I think he understands that he has value on D, passing, setting picks, rim running, and he is a serious team first guy. I just want to know what he's saying to opponents during games.

Nice, thanks for the BRK/DEN love. Man, that floor in the DEN arena.. atrocious. I feel like the bright background blows out the highlights.

Dubs really gotta get a split in the next two if they want the #8. Memphis has a cupcake schedule.

It's nice seeing Steph and Dray flex on the tanking thunder but all I'm saying is they better keep that same energy in these upcoming big games and not lay an egg!

Anonymous

I agree, but in my opinion Memphis kinda sucks anyway so is always 50/50 for them no matter who they plays

athleticalchemy

You notice the road telecasts have a lot of exposure and contrast issues. I like the gray Brooklyn court tho.. makes the players pop

Alch, could you eleaborate on the soccer footwork comments? I grew up playing soccer and everytime i ball people comment on my footwork and foot speed but I cant really see what they mean. Would be great to get your insight. Also, side question, is paschal getting shippedout? is that why they keep sitting him?

athleticalchemy

I think it’s the ability to chop strides down in to 3 or 4 small steps rather than 1 or two long ones. Then that leads into the ability to change direction quicker or on a whim.

Anonymous

Nice to see Steph and Dray flex on the baby thunder but they better keep that same energy in these big games coming up and stop laying eggs vs good teams!

Safe bet we play in to the Offs. Just how many guys do we have left on the roster who are recovering from covid or injured? Feel like we are one injury away from Smiley lining up against Gobert at tip off. If Lee, Oubre & Paschall were all court ready, I'd have no problem laying down money on a Warriors first round upset over UTA or PHO. But the rotation has been getting paper thin. Problem is, such a short rotation means you are basically doing the same thing each game, unable to tweak things, throw a wrinkle in here or there, go with a hot hand off the bench. By game 3, Pho or Uta will have figured out anything and everything the Warriors are doing (because they can't do anything else with such a short bench) and countered. Any single game, sure. But playoffs are about adjustments and the Warriors feel like a one-trick small ball pony right now. I'm seeing Joe Ingels in my nightmares right now!

Yo Alch great breakdown as always. I just finished listening to today's Hezi episode and I like your Yellow Light category. Only thing I'd change would be the name, cuz you know some guys see a yellow light and they just wanna gun it more. I think they should be STOP sign shooters, as in if they get the ball they need to stop, check themselves (and their lanes), then fire off. Just my two cents, haha. Keep up the great work!

Julian

Lee and Oubre are both coming back around PS play-in game time, supposedly. Everyone else out outside of the 8 that have been playing.
