Jordan Bell.. whoah

I'd rather have Omari Spellman than Jordan Bell. Anybody else feel this way?

David A.

Mulder is not it. Couple things with Poole... I still like him, and have faith. However, his long ball is all over the place. Sometimes off the front rim, sometimes left, sometimes right, sometimes off back iron. Often, with a shooter, they'll have too much sauce on it and hit back iron until they dial it in. Same with not putting enough arc or force into it and consistently hitting the front rim... until they dial it in (during the course of a game). You don't always see someone off in totally random ways, with every shot. For example, if Steph is missing several 3s in a row, he's almost always missing in the same way. Too strong every time or too short every time. Again, until it gets corrected. Other thing with Poole that I think you've touched upon in the past... he needs to learn to slow his momentum when he gets through traffic and is at the rim. Slow down a tiny step when you're clear. Still want to see more of Smiley but it's not gonna happen, I'm convinced. They'll throw him 4 minutes of garbage time and he's never going to get better for us.

Lol the only streams i could find of this game was the thunder broadcast. Dudes referred to moulder as a "defensive player". Had me laughing. I do think you are being a little harsh on moulder though, but I completely agree his minutes total is a little rediculous. Could you make a video on what our roster should shape up to look like next season? I was thinkin about it yesterday, I don't see where EP fits anymore, and I think Nico might get the short end of the stick and be gone. 🤷🏽‍♂️

David A.

I think EP has been hurting longer than we have realized. However, he has seemed a bit more one dimensional that I thought after last year, as well. Due to injury? Not sure. EP does have a nice mid-range but we dont do a great job encouraging mid-range play. I mean... no one does anymore. Nico has been... rough... for a little while. I've gotten more concerned with his court vision.

right.. you don't know where he is missing form. Thats strange for a "shooter" He wants too bad tho.. long as he stays healthy he will figure it out.

Mulder reminds me of making a 2K player where he only has 1 defensive badge and then he just gets totally worked by opponents. It even looks like the other team knows Mulder is a defensive liability and just splash in his face or blow you past him. At least Nico, albeit undersized, looks to work harder on the defensive end. I'd rather see minutes go to Nico as it is clear we are not winning the chip and so it doesnt make sense to just play the better player but to maximize playing time for our prospects. This would help identify weaknesses in their game, opportunity to address those weaknesses in game (rest of season and off season) and if they do shine it would add to their trade value if we ever wanted to move on from them. That is why Smiley NOT getting playing time is so annoying. Id rather keep Dray and Steph on the bench in the 4th and let the young guys run it. I don't really care about making a play in game. From a business perspective it also doesn't make sense because we cannot pack chase center to the max anyways so the lost revenue is mitigated in this shortened season. If a play in game happened in a regular season the amount of extra revenue from broadcasts and arena revenue would be much more substantial.

Moses brown looks like Brittney Griner, damn

"expected to win and expected to win easily" in poker we call spots like this a "negative freeroll" or neg freeroll. you can't win, but opponents can destroy you

Happy for Juan. I like seeing him play.

Alc totally agree with you on MM. Dudes defence is shockingly bad! Btw, instead of Bell, I would have liked spellman! High IQ 3point shooting big. Thoughts?

Last season he was doing really well in the system by the end of his tenure. Looked like a natural fit and he loves playing for the dubs even when they were losing. Man him and Chriss would've been super helpful this season since they know how the system works. Alas, it isn't reality *sigh* still I agree with you O > Bell

Juan is looking increasingly more like a young draymond lol, after he gets stronger I see him as a more perimter oriented draymond/iggy type of player, but with a rather consistent open 3%. I actually don't hate signing Bell, he was decent for us during the run and was effective in a small ball line up. With Oubre being out for the season, we need another guy who knows the system and has that energy and bounce. Spellman probably bears a grudge against us and so does Chriss. I think the manegment fucked up with these two talented young men, instead we have busts like Mulder in our lineup.

on the current squad, unfortunately, Mulder would still be our go to 3pt shooter when Curry is acting as a decoy... hopefully next season we'd get ourselves another shooter who just doesn't suck in everything else

athleticalchemy

How old is JTA? Not sure he gets much stronger. But he is definitely going to pick up all the lil tricks.

athleticalchemy

Kerr seems like he plays favorites too much. How many times we see him yank JP early in the year for a blown defensive assignment? Mulder may not technically mess up. But he still needs to be held accountable for being a revolving door

How awesome would it be if the Warriors were somehow able to steal Brogdon away from Pacers because of their potential fire sale situation? Speaking of the Pacers, you've mentioned how Myles Turner is like a prototypical big in the modern NBA. Can't Wiseman have similar success with the Warriors by playing his style? Granted, Wiseman's defensive awareness around the paint is no where close but that takes time to develop and I think it is way too early give up on him. Wiseman shot 31% from three this season but I believe he can get that up to 37-38% if he continued to work on his shot. Is that a high enough percentage for you to be comfortable with him taking those outside shots?

athleticalchemy

Brogdan has a lot of injury problems.. Wiseman can absolutely become that type the problem is when? he maybe 2-3 years away that would make him what 22-23.

Yo Alch, can we get a per diem thumbnail artist? I think the internet would break if you photoshopped mulder's face onto gumby's body or a giant butterknife. Or maybe a team photo with a collection of character comparisons from the season so far...

Totally agree - More NICO! More JTA! Guys with high IQ and low minutes totally stupid! Ooops, did I just dis our LAME COACH again???

You see a lot of young players being disrespectful to the coaches...with indiana,thunders....those new AAU kids lol...
