That was a clinic on how to play Jokic. Jokic was below his averages on every stat except minutes, plus/minus was -18. Jokic did not score from above the free throw line, all his scores were back to the basket fades and zero drive scores. Looney and Green did not gap him and stayed tight with ball pressure for every pass. Jokic's weakness in his game is that he does not straight line drive from above the free throw so there is no reason to give him even an inch of space. Pressure him and do not allow him to pass, double only from the low post or lane. Not the MVP..... OBTW Mrs. Curry never burns the pot roast.

That J Poole short shorts line had me rolling 🤣 Alch you catch that moment between Steph & Klay? Man miss seeing Klay out there. Great stuff as always

Mulder scored a bunch of points but one thing stuck out. He was the only negative player in +/- among all players that played significant minutes. He cant defend.. just another quinn cook. I hope jessup gets here next season so we can send mulder on his way. Mulder to me isnt an nba player..

Man you always kill me with some of your jokes every video. Real Steph Curry behind closed doors represent!

Draymond is playing for his assists. He gives up the ball in places where players wont take more than 2 dribbles to get to the rim so it can be counted as an assist for him. This is why i say he is scamming the system. We are still playing 4 on 5. See how the lead was cut down to 7 before steph returned in the 4th qtr. Draymond is useless without steph. Thats why we were destroyed vs hawks with him playing. Dray cant even play on any other team because on a team like nets, harden wont allow him to rack up assists. No superstar will allow dray to playmake and that playmaking is fools gold. Anyone realise dray is the only playmaker in the nba who doesnt get ball pressure. Nobody guards him so he can hold it for so long and make the passes he wants

The growth in oubre when he gave up the ball to jta.. love to see it

Alch you spoke on the Hesi yesterday about Jordan’s irrational confidence and his miosis from being around Steph and I wanted to give a proposition and get your take. We’re Steph not to go to the Olympics, how significant would Jordan and Steph being workout befuddles during the summer be? Not every once in a while but if they busted their ass together every day with a legitimate routine. Jordan’s got talent like few have in the league and the irrational that most don’t, but if he were to become slightly better in the shots he chooses, his spots, off ball movement, etc. we might not just have a rotation player but a top 5 piece on a title contender. What do you think?

Anonymous

Jokic kind of got that Larry Bird release from behind his head. Allows a ton of arc and a release point damn near behind his head which makes his shots basically unblockable.

Great catches on everything Alc! Especially Oubre being unselfish to JTA on a breakaway dunk. Kerr not starting him even with Baze out tells me he definitely has something against Kelly, so I'd be really surprised if we see him back next season. I think he already understands his value matters NOW which is why he's giving it his all even off the bench.

Ezra Abbey

mpj is spooky man, dude could end up being a top 5 type player in a few years.

Straw Pole for anyone: Who's your pick to go all the way? Injuries are the obvious caveats. We'll all have to make our best guesses on those too. I'm going with the Suns! They've been more or less healthy, consistent, had a great playoff run last season, solid leadership on and off the floor, young, energy, balanced scoring...

Anonymous

In this game he literally had ball pressure on every possession (like Alc pointed out) and still managed a career high 19 assists... dray although he has flaws still helps the defense a lot (see the end of the wizards game where he was missing)

Anonymous

in past games i would agree, but in this case u gotta give him credit and the +/- isnt representative for this performance in that game.

Yo, who you got with Usman v Masvidal? I actually feel like Masvidal may have IT this time and find places for his wicked body kicks and switch power. Usman is obviously a beast and as tough as they come tho. I’m taking Masvidal.

Gsw4L

Finally Oubre coming off the bench. Somethin' I've been talking since January. Him and Wiggs shouldn't be both in starting line up. Somehow they cancel each other with their iso style of play. Just hope we stay healthy. It's tough when you depend on Moulder scoring.

Anonymous

Don´t think it has anything to do with how Kerr feels about Oubre, its just his style of Coaching, We had Mckinnie starting had D Jones starting or Cook, McCaw, Nick Young the list goes on all those guys over better Players. The starting five doesnt have to be the five best player and the bench role was obviously workin last game.

Gsw4L

One thing he needs to learn how to draw fouls like Embiid

Shea Johnson

God I love me some Juan fuckin T

That quiet 'splash' , nice

Alch I know we’re not in yet but if we were to get into the playoffs who would you rather play out of the suns, jazz, clippers?

Anonymous

Quiet 20 piece from KO. Love his production off the bench. While I think steph has been the best player in the league since January, he doesn’t deserve mvp because we’re barely .500, and that’s just how it is. Quite frankly I don’t want him to get mvp if he isn’t the 6 seed at least. Too controversial. IMO jokic deserves it because he hasn’t missed a game, but I have a hard time envisioning him being the best player on a championship contender.

Natto Santo

Curry and Pool on the same court is obvious a good thing. Kelly and Draymond has been good on both ends together. One is Maxing the shooting, the other one is Maxing the defense. I think the best line up is : Steph, Jordan, Wiggins, Kelly and Draymond.

Anonymous

good point about Wigs and Oubre cancelling each other. And Poole beside Curry really takes some heat off Steph, a la Klay, and spaces things out.

Glad to see Steph let the refs have it. They were dissing an MVP candidate for Cappucino, some pint size bowling pin too small to play D any way but constantly fouling

athleticalchemy

I think his ceiling is maybe CJ!? But I mean yeah if they did that it would be accelerated even more

athleticalchemy

I can’t call yet. The thing with the suns, they don’t trust Ayton and at some point they will have too

I’m not gonna give it to him for not missing a game. As unfortunate as their luck has been, he needs to finish strong

Natto Santo

Steph is now commanding more respect from refs. He was too friendly in a way. I love Steph being a little mean and with mad focus.

Anonymous

Yo alc I know why EP be complaining all the time now.. I was just in NY playing pickup and all these fools be doing is calling fouls 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

athleticalchemy

😆 NY niccas are a trip bro.. reaching is just flat out allowed. The funny shit is. If you get some off nice, the will celebrate regardless the teams

Yehudah Raphaelsohn

Did you see Steph wink to the camera after his technical? I think someone had a word with him and told him make sure to go earn a T if they keep disrespecting him. He's been too passive with the refs.

Jerry Heverly

The odd thing is, the Warriors seemed like the better team from the opening tip. And that has been true for nearly two weeks. They blew two games with missed layups and free throws, but since they went to small ball they look….competent. They used to win games with hussle and spunk, but these recent games they seem to win with skill. They still have the energy, now they have added talent. It was a nice one-game fairy tale for Mulder but he doesn’t shoot well enough to merit a roster spot. There are a dozen guys sitting at home (including Jeremy Lin) who would add more than he does.

I don’t know if anyone peep’d but after Curry had that chest beat And 1 he got up, made a face at Campazzo and said “Punk”

I see lots of similarities between MPJ and Wiseman trajectory. Both were top of HS class, both missed almost all of college freshman year. MPJ missed rookie year, Wiseman's rookie year was disrupted over and over. MPJ's second year was up/down but he broke out in the bubble. Hoping Wiseman breaks out by end of next year in time for playoffs. Unfortunately, thinking Wiseman's defensive trajectory might also mirror MPJs. Might be 3 or 4 years till they get it.

Anonymous

Sorry dont see it. I've seen so little court awareness with Wiseman, he has got no basketball intelligence what so ever. Only thing I see with Wiseman is hope. Hope he is anything other than athletic. Hope he learns to play team ball. Hope he makes better decisions. Hope we didnt screw up a super great and rare pick. Want to see it. But the reality is , is that Wiseman is worst rookie in the league. Look at the RAPTOR stats on Wiseman. Worse player and rookie in league this year. He has alot to learn just to be break even... alot! Maybe 6 years out if he keeps trying ... hard. Im not trying to burst bubble of hope, but he sucks right now and didnt improve much this year or even since last year as a college player. My hope about Wiseman is that I'm totally wrong.

Aaron Gordon out here taking step back 3’s got me laughing 😂

Nurk's little turn around step back I'm pretty sure is a travel every time. He sets his left pivot foot but then spins on his right, then losses the pivot foot and jumps onto the left. Def a travel if he doesn't shoot it at that point, but it doesn't seem like it's a legit move if you really look at it .
