Give JTA the "Bill Hanzlik" minutes, meaning, the position # doesn't matter just get him minutes at whatever position you are shorthanded at due to circumstance (fouls/injuries) in any given game.

That man Juan T is a fucking guy- if we ever decide to move on from Dray I think Juan is someone with the potential to try to fill that role. It just feels like he is always in the right spot, always making the right pass and the right play, and he plays like a damn dog out there, I love em.

Masterclass breakdown again. Really liking the chemistry that seems to brewing. Seemed like the chemistry was fracturing a few weeks ago, but since the last two games Wiseman played through now it feels like the run we have all be waiting on might actual come together here heading into the playoffs.

We really think Myers and Lacob dictate who starts and plays? Would think they try and influence but the call is Kerr’s I would of thought. I might be naive tho

This game pretty much confirms my idea that the FO has been trying to get Kerr to not play him as much in order to get a team friendlier deal/limit a bidding war. With Nico, Smiley, and even Mulder on the roster, it gets real gross how the Warriors are turning into the Cowboys bc their politics get in the way for delivering a good product. I could also put some blame on Kerr and Steph for going the good soldier route and not telling them that they have been bad at their jobs for a few years now and need to get their shit together, but alas they are not doing it for the culture I guess.

Im so happy for Juan man. I remember seeing him in the summer league the first time and people were writing him off, and he didnt even get that much playing time with that team. But I saw something in him from his short spurts and knew he was someone the Warriors needed to keep. Really nice to see that pay off. Now the grain of salt here is that hopefully he can continue to play similarly against "real" opponents like this Saturday, and do it with less minutes because just like you pointed out Alch, where does he fit in the roster with Kelly/Klay or any other center they eventually get? He cant continue to be the 5 against 7footers. Cleveland was a perfect opportunity. Cavs fucked up by not using Allen more. Got any predictions on the Celtics game Alch? Jaylen Brown just dropped 40 something on the Lakers the other day but other than that, I havent kept up with how the Cs are doing. Im hoping its a competitive game at the very least. A blowout would just make the win streak seem as worthless as the opponents they were against. I would love if Curry tied Jordan (or was it Kobe) with 10 straight 30pt games. If they lose, thats fine, Im still of the mindset they shouldnt be trying for the playoffs. But I hope they just dont lose when they really had the opportunity to win, like the Hawks/Wizards/Magic games. Dumb and dumber hahahahaha. Poole aint that bad! But Bazemore definitely. Should be Dumber and Decent. The only reason that looked so ugly was cuz Baze doesnt know when or where to pass on a 2v1 fastbreak!! They definitely aint no Shaun and Iggy!

You mention Myers and Lacob pressuring Kerr to play more Wiseman. Just shows they don't trust his coaching. Neither do I. But the only thing worse than a bad coach is two FO execs who are even worse trying to do his job. The disarray in this org is palpable. Find a coach who has a plan, have his back, and live with the results. But the plan has to be a new one - we don't have superstars now.

Absolutely... not all the time or in every instance. But big contract seasons ( like KO) high draft picks ... GM's and front offices can and will influence rotations

Jordan Poole off the dribble 3pt%: 0 (dribbles) - 37.2% on threes 1 - 23.5% 2 - 28.6% 3-6 - 23% 7+ - 50% For reference, he takes 57% of his shots from three, and hits at 34.7% on the season... 37.2% on catch and shoot (zero dribbles) is his second best. But you're right that 7+ dribbles is wildly efficient. It's hardly any shots though so maximum small sample size warning (just 1.3% of his attempts are after 7+ dribbles) Only 1.3% of his shots are off 7 or more dribbles, but he is hitting 50% on them. Loved to see JTA play this way. Will Kerr see this? Will Kerr let Gary Payton junior get more into rotation? Why has it again taken so long for coaching staff to see this kind of talent and character potential and give more time to JTA? It seems as if there is blindness by the coaching staff and front office to player groundedness and court / basketball awareness (Brad Wanamaker as an example). It concerns me as a homer that my team's front office and coaching staff, as good as they might be at some things, cannot see basketball intelligence until it hits them in the face. And Im sorry to those that think otherwise, but I dont see the kind of basketball/team intelligence from Oubre and Wiseman, that I see in JTA. What is going to happen when Oubre gets well. He seems to muck up the team flow and cant seem to make a damn assist for the life of him. And what the hell is POOLE doing at the end of games. He thinks he's Jordan. Maybe he be SIMPLE JORDAN ... just sayin ...we shall see long live JTA !

Alchemy. Honestly i wonder when they get to package wiseman and trade him. The whole experiment is a disaster. Now he doesnt get to play for 6mo so no offseason training for him and he stilld doesnt know how to play. There4 next season will be his extended rookie season. Meanwhile curry will be 34 next season. Besides i really dont see anything generational in wiseman's talent to warrant mortgaging the present on him. Wiseman is just a 7ft atheltic guy who doesnt know how to even hoop..if he was a generational talent, his bball IQ should be better.. imo, if towns requests a trade, warriors should package wiseman + minny pick and oubre S/T. I just hope wiseman wont end up being smiley 2.0 where the F.O know they messed up but are too proud to reverse their blunder.

JTA deserves to be bumped up to a full roster spot. I think he gives us at least as much as Oubre in off and def, and even more in court awareness and assists. He's one of the culture too, he's down with Steph for life. Plus he has attitude. Can't teach that. The guy who needs to give up minutes to make room is Dray. It's time for Dray to rest more. We talk about his IQ, but why can't he admit that?

JTA is so easy to like. Dray is so hard to like, if we do it's because he's a part of the dynasty, but realistically I wish we would trade him. Wiseman imo does not have any basketball sense, he's not a player, he's big and looks like a specimen so we all think he should be really good some day, it's human nature, everyone who looks like that and has highlights like he has every 3rd game is USUALLY a very good player,. The trouble is there are many more good looking specimens that wash out if they don't know how to play. His hands are bad, doesn't have a nose for the ball at all, no feel for defense, no shot blocking ability for a 7'6" wingspan on a 7 footer, and he completely lacks the attitude needed to compete. He only gives max effort when he thinks he is going to get a shot off, otherwise he's just a soft slow wing player with way below average skills who accidentally grew to 7 feet tall. Looks great getting off the bus though. Trouble is I think the word is out and we won't get much in a trade.. Kat would be fantastic, but no way we can get him for Paddles Wiseman unless we also give Minn. something big that we don't want to give.

Juan definitely deserves more minutes and I'm not overly concerned where they come from. Shaving Drays minutes certainly might not hurt and maybe just maybe in the short term you end up with a more productive version of him when he is on the court. Baze still needs to go in my eyes he's not bridge troll bad but the constant fouling really grinds my gears. Overall I'm not going to get too excited about this string of wins given the opponents. But if the flashes of potential and chemistry continue through the rest of the season that is reason for some hope in the future. Let's hope it doesn't lead to more complacency from the FO though. This team still needs to make major changes.

Best, funniest, breakdown of the year imo. I loved that you identified the same turning point that I did, that steal in the 3rd qtr. This game shows how little I know about bball....how can a tiny lineup like this beat Denver and beat up on the basement teams? But Wiseman is still the future, mobile, willing to take his own shot, that business about bad hands is old news, no longer the case, showing how fast he can learn. I'd like to see a comparison of him with 20-year-old Gobert or Jokic, I'd bet JW is ahead of either of them. People praise the Warriors chemistry yet disparage Kerr, who is the one who makes that spirit possible. He gets more out of this bunch of pygmies than any other coach could. The Celtic game should reveal whether this little six game run is a mirage or a sign that Warrior small ball is for real.

The current rotations seem to be clicking. Probably just dumb luck and a lot of bad opponents, we shall see against Boston. Baze starting in place of KOjr seems to be bringing better chemistry, better sync between guys who have played together more. Moving up to 8th Seed begins to look possible, particularly with injuries to Utah and Denver. 7th and 8th are far better than 9th or 10th, because winner of 7th v 8th advances, but loser still gets a second chance against winner of 9 v 10.
