damn near shed a tear watching this game

We need to all get to the boards tonight’s game since looney is now out 🙄

Great breakdown! Could it be that Wiggins was tired the past games? So now a combination of rest and Steph being out. If yes, they better find him some rest in the games at the end of the season... LeBron like. I heard that there haven't been many sweeps in these back to backs.....

Jpoole 👀

Kerr Said himself that Wiggins was tired before the break

The problem I see with Morants shot is his base, he is very narrow even for his bodyframe. Hes just never really on balanced even when he's gapped and dared to shoot. Add to that he has this low push shot,. He should watch some Mike Conley shooting videos, he's someone that made this push shot work.

If Poole is legit, I think you gotta trade Oubre. Oubre is ok but he's not giving anything reliable and he's not worth 20m. If they can get Barnes or Gordon for Oubre/assets, do it.

I didn’t agreed on the wanamaker slander until yesterday...like the dude playing in the nba like it’s his part time job...he checked out although he was supposed to be the vet...But in better news, poole playing exactly like curry...He watched the tape it’s obvious...i saw it the game before going in the g league,he figured it out the pace he had to play with..rest is just confidence..Draymond is really a once in a lifetime-player man...At the 5, its starting to be a revelation...physically he lost some but iq and help defense is otherworldly...is it easier for him to make these reads with a slow center as a matchup?? Will it take a toll on his body in the long run if it’s his closing games position?

Sucks that Looney is out tonight so he can't build on his great game yesterday. :/

I know Poole was drafted to be the back-up to Klay, but I don't feel like he's a good fit on the floor with Curry. Poole and Klay have entirely different offensive styles and his fit in the Kerr system is playing in the Curry role. He's a natural sub for Curry, but not exactly a complimentary player to Curry. And that's fine. We need to be able to keep scoring while Curry sits and maybe, ultimately, Poole will "split time" with Curry and keep the offensive system intact. We won't have to "change styles" while Curry is out. (which begs another question about how to better integrate Wiseman ... and that's a very long discussion that I hope you'll explore in a future video)

Thomas Ogas

BTW, I think Lee is the best back-up to Klay we have, and I really like how Lee and Curry play together.

SmileyGeek should start at Center tonight! Him, Poole, Nico, JTA - damn, whole G-Leage subs for the starters! i see no reason whatsoever to play Wannabe instead of Nico. I think Kerr probably just does it cuz he's a nice guy and it was garbage time, but that's wasting time instead of developing Nico. Damn, worst of all wasting these games unable to play Wiseman. This COVID protocol is BS. But still I remember everyone saying the league was crazy to even leave the bubble this season, so it is what it is. Huge Asterisk Season, IMO. Last season too. I don't consider the Lakers Championship legit, nor will I consider this year's. It ain't real hoops until there are fans filling the stands, and stable lineups, time to practice together.

I think it's easy to root for an offensive player cuz they're flashy. Case in point: look at this game where Poole looked legit AF he was +0, meanwhile Oubre with just 4 points is +14.

Great break down man! I didn't catch the game, but damn that's awesome. I think the Wiggins aggression is a combination of missing Curry and fresh legs after the all star break. I didn't watch him in Minnesota, so I have no idea what caused his infamous inconsistencies and what people called his "dissappearances", but you're spot on with that PG comparison. TBH neither Wiggins or PG look to have that IT factor you so often talk about. They both seem like they're just out there hoopin' and not out there to demolish their competition; but what do I know.

Jordan Poole is our Jordan Clarkson. 😆😆😆

It took u 40 games for Bridgetroll, really???? But late is better than never welcome😅

Anonymous

felt bad for mephis fans they paid to watch curry and maybe see their team win rip

Jessup would be Klay's backup eventually if he develops

Ezra Abbey

wigs has so much potential, can't wait to see him next year with klay

John Pettus

Wiggins handle is loose as helllllll. To loose to create on his own most of the time.

I still have no idea who the player comp for poole is and I’ve been thinking about it since that last vid. Thoughts??

Andres Lozano

Heard someone say that Poole may be our version of Tony Parker. Tony was a faster player in his younger years where Poole has a 3 ball and more grace to his game. But developmental wise they both were late 1st round picks with short leashes with their coach in their early years. Seems like Poole is responding well to Kerr’s short leash plus he seems like a more empathetic guy than Popavich.

Great breakdown, very welcome as I only got to watch the game in spurts. Was fun to see Wiggins ball out, sadly the cynic in me says it's the sort of game we are only likely to see from him once in a season if that. That said the pressure is on Kerr and co to figure how to get more than 15 a night from him. I suspect his trade value is still pretty low and shifting him would require giving up the Minnesota pick which doesn't seem worth it unless your getting back an All Star level talent or better. I reckon we are due to lose the 2nd game today, The Grizzlies will bring the fire and I don't see us bringing that level of effort two game in a back to back. Would love to be proven wrong.

Oubre: “Welcome to the 40 club wigs. Now which one of us is getting traded?” Wiggins: “Hey what if we both performed well at the same time?” Both: *laugh at the absurdity* Bob Myers: *Licks cheese off fingers after finishing his 2nd plate of Nachos and his 4th beer, walks into the locker room to change into his Bruins footsie pj’s, and leaves without saying a word. Grabs a tub of ice cream and goes to play some Punch Out before falling asleep in the storage-closet-made-bedroom* Another day at the office for Busy Bob!

I said before that Poole's comparable is Lou Williams, though Poole is better defensively. JTA passes up too many open threes.

Hey, video is marked "private", how do I watch it?
