Hell yeah! I missed these chats

Jello Smooth

Oh yeah ... I don’t think people should think of equal value ... If you are the one asking for the asset ... your side should be the one putting in more. This seems to be principle. GSW wants to dump salary they gotta....

The league don’t want us to be great after the last 5 years lol...Only trade happening we lose all of our assets for a star...The lakers and nets gave us the blueprint...Guys will come to play for us when we will look like real contenders...All in move is the only choice.

So someone tell me where I’m wrong. This Warriors team has a lot of athletes, and promising talent, but when I’m watching these guys I’m most frustrated with the lack of feel for the game. I just want that to be balanced in a little more to be confident in this championship window. What about about a Wiggins and the Minnesota pick For a Fred VanVleet and Og Anunoby Something along those lines. Toronto finally gets a pick that will come with some pedigree, they’ll have Air Canada back in town, and they’ll look to the future as the likely are looking to do. Warriors get a guy in VanVleet that’s showed championship caliber of selflessness. With Curry and Klay you could talk him into leading possibly the best bench unit of next years team. He’s currently leading the league in deflections. He’ll be our version of Marcus smart but with a reliable 3pt shot. The warriors have hustle already. But these guys bring hustle that is aimed and a bit more calculated.

Minnesota's pick for SGA is fire. I like that trade a lot

i’ve always been a fan of og and fred i think they fit that positionless player mold we need.

Loved the pod man it's been way too long

I'd damn near give the minny pick for Lou Dort. Dort on the warriors would be fire

Great pod gentlemen!

for the SGA trade, I feel like OKC would want a paschall on top of Minny pick and Loon. Also it would let us sell high on EP because I'm afraid that he'll never develop the three ball

Gsw4L

glad to hear Bob announcing we be aggressive. hope not just empty words...

This was awesome. Nothing to add! Except - if you traded Oubre (only bc we can't afford him) wouldn't he have to agree that's he's re signing w the Kings? Who would do that ? Not him, he did his time in Phoenix and he wants to be w Goldman Sachs not JT Marlin

Anonymous

How would you feel if we included EP but OKC compensated us with one of their many late first rounders. If you're the thunder is that of interest? Then the Warriors could use that pick to attach it in a trade with the DPE

Isn't Draymond our guy on defense?? So if we ship him out.... isn't the defense going to be hurting?

Anonymous

I love that SGA trade. I’ve just been a big fan of the dude ever since the Dubs went up against him and the Clips in the conference finals back in the day.

NGL I'd be thrilled about the Beal trade.

I’m here for uncensored alch pods. The kat and oladipo hate is incredible I love it. Low key true tho Nah all these trades are dope. Let’s see what happens

Anonymous

I’ll take KO + Wigs over Dray. If you see some of the defensive strategies that have been thrown at us are due to Green’s presence on the floor, Curry was doubled and forced to give up the ball because Green was left open

Shea Johnson

Yo Alch, what are your thoughts on this wiggins for otto porter trade? take the temporary L and then have cap space next year for a big F/A signing?

Jimmy Ji

The Warriors just don't have enough cap flexibility. Next year's cap hit for Draymond, Steph, Wiggins, and Klay's is over $139M. That's already into the luxury tax. I don't think Lacob can stomach back-to-back seasons in the luxury tax especially since the Warriors revenue have fallen off a cliff since the Pandemic.

Just listened to this and loved it... but tell STEVE that Houston ain't giving up Christian Wood for shit draft picks. If Houston did this, my god Danny Ainge would be salivating. Like as flawed as Wood is, he's amazing and Houston imo only trades wood for a top first round pick which you got right.

The Warriors are fine without Lamelo.. It would’ve been redundant because we have Poole.. Poole nice af rn could be better than SGA; he’s a better shooter than both. And we have this Jessup kid that’s going to be another coming of Klay.. Now we just need to draft a wing and we straight.. Zaire Williams or even a Scottie Barnes

I think Wiggins + Looney + minny pick for Shai + Al Horford would be a perfect deal for us, hear me out: Al and Shai would solve most of our problems as a team right now: they are both high IQ players, Shai would give us another shot creator plus Al is one of the better passing centers in the league, they are both above average 3pt shooters (40% and 37% of 5 attempts each), and Al would be the perfect center for our sistem (amazing IQ on both ends, can shoot the 3, playmake, and even put the ball on the floor a little) and the perfect mentor for Wiseman. The ideia would be Al starting for this year (and maybe next year too, depending on Wiseman’s growth as a player) and slowly fade to a bench roll i think he would accept in our team. I also believe that Al + Shai can help our team contend next year more than Wiggs + whoever we pick in the draft (IF Minny lands outside of the top three, its important to remember that we may not receive anything this year); i really believe a veteran center could make a great impact on our team (and help Wiseman develop) and Shai is already a borderline all-star level player, ready to help a contender right now (and its only 22, so we could build around him for the future. He is also a more of a sure thing for the future than a draft pick we don’t even know if we will land.) What makes this deal perfect in my opinion is the salary aspect of the trade: We would save the 7MIL we would have had to pay the guy we picked in the draft (if we kept minnys pick); Al makes 5 million less than Wiggins next year (wich could give us more room to re-sign Oubre) and, in 2022, the year we would have to pay Shai close to a max, Al’s contract has only 14MIL garanteed, wich is 19MIL less than Wiggins contract. I believe re-signing Shai with Wiggins on the team would be almost impossible financially, but the 19MIL extra could make it possible (especially if Steph takes a paycut on his contract) So yeah, to sum it up, Shai an Al woul fit seemlesly on our team right now, help us contend next year, Shai would be our future alongside Wiseman, and we would get a little breathing room in the salary cap. For the Thunder, they get a great asset in the minny pick (one that they could even package with their other picks to get Cade Cunningham), and a way better asset than Horford in Wiggins. (I’m brazilian, so i’m sorry if i messed up the writing)
