I thought Steph was amazing in this game, and proved he's a better player than Dame. But in the clutch?? YIKES. Dubs have no clutch player right now, can't close anything out.

Anonymous

I get Wiseman is struggling but why not let him grow on the court instead of taking him out like especially when he fouls because it’s not like he’s going to be in the closing lineup anyway you gotta give him more than 11 minutes

Anonymous

Warriors missed layups at the rim throughout the game (Looney, Steph, Draymond, Wiseman) and that often comes back to haunt you in a close game. Steve has to give more minutes for Wiseman.

Anonymous

The thing about the blown call at the end is that draymond wouldn’t have had to make 2 free throws .. since he made the basket he would have went to the line game tied 108-108 with a chance to go up 1 with 4 secs left.... but oh well i guess.. lillard gets the whistle of a 2 time mvp 3 time champion 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm afraid that Nico will need a few games to gel with this squad. But after that, he should be an asset. Love the content on the Hezi btw! Got me checking for that daily as well...

I know amputees who can hit more shots than brad

Anonymous

Steph doesn't have to prove he's better than Dame, that's been proved since the beginning of time

Biggest disappointment of the season for me is how the team uses Wiseman. Half of the season's behind us, and I still can't tell how the team envisions Wiseman to play. Like, what do they want him to do? Especially on offense? He took 1 shot in the first half, off a pick-n-roll with Steph. Took 3 more in the second, and that was it. If you play him like Looney, you should've traded down for a Looney type. The team is seriously wasting Wiseman's potential and impeding his development.

Love seeing my guys go up against the dubs. I hate the Dame and Steph comparisons. Because even in my bias I know that dame is a product of what Steph has done for the game. I hate the charge call there. I think it discredits the win for us and I would rather be down potentially 1 with a chance on our end to put it away. Anyways great coverage as always

Ezra Abbey

Dame's step back is so quick, he power dribbles and hops back in a really quick and fluid motion which gives him a lot of rhythm and creates a ton of separation, a thing of beauty.

Thomas Ogas

It's hard to judge rookies/young players and project future talent, so I'm having a hard time with Paschall and Poole. But of the bench guys on this year's team, the guys I definitely want going forward are Lee and Toscano-Anderson next season. I was big on Chriss last year and I still think that holds. I really want to keep those 3. Maybe Looney stays, and he's still good culture and a good roleplayer. Maybe Oubre doesn't get a big payday next season ... but I doubt that. I don't think we can pay him enough and don't know if he'd come off the bench. Wiseman we have to keep. Bring in that New Zealand league kid next season. Draft 2 lottery studs and then fill out the rest of bench with vets and we'll have a damn good squad.

How long a leash does the Wanamaker have? Why Kerr is so in love with vets is frustrating our young guys need to get out there. Wiseman, Poole and Nico getting minutes is more valuable to our future then anything at this point. We need to evaluate what we got cause we know we need a new back up PG no matter what Wanamaker ain’t it. Hate to shit on the dude but he’s playing out of position and needs to go.

I genuinely have no idea how anyone can watch Dame and Stephen and think it’s even close. Dame just doesn’t have anywhere near the iq. There’s no “style” or the cerebral nature with which Steph gets his shots. It’ll never be close with the two of them.

Let me just start by saying I absolutely fucking HATE Portland. I always have. I got respect for CJ and (only slightly) Dame. But over the years, seeing guys like Meyers Leonard and Zach Collins pull their bullshit against us, and now add in Covington and Patty Mills wannabe Trent, Jr. Credit to these dudes actually. They never seem to fucking miss. But again with the touch fouls every single time down, but Curry is getting mauled on every layup and the refs just totally pretend Curry doesnt exist. And then Dame committing the clearest and most obvious foul on Steph shooting a 3 and he swears on his mama that he got ball??? I cant fucking stand these dudes and then of course, Warriors miss how many free throws of the few they get, and they blow the game. It was probably the right call against Draymond. I dont like it. But it seemed to be right. I want to bounce back tonight against the Suns but.........I doubt that will happen lol.

athleticalchemy

But it’s the ones he doesn’t even attempt! Do his blocked shots count on his %? This a case where the numbers absolutely lie

Abhi Kelkar

I get giving Wiseman a short leash but on matchups where he can feast, at least let him play until he fouls out

Anonymous

You mentioned at the end that draymond would've taken 2 freethrows. If it was called correctly as a blocking foul, he would've had an opportunity to take a 1-point lead at the line, considering he made the layup.

Anonymous

We need to give more pt to JTA. Hes starting to become a good 3 and d guy

Anonymous

This one hurt no cap considering we was 1-1 with portland and all the dame better than steph talk.. Bob myers also came out and said we only pulling a trade thats going to help us now and going forward no short term plans!

Anonymous

The block/charge call is the toughest call in the game. I remember back in game 1 2018 finals in the final minute Lebron stepped in front of Kevin on a drive and they initially called a charge but changed it to a block. It’s always that trailing leg which seems to still be moving as the contact occurs. Now obviously Draymond green is no Kevin Durant, but consistency is key. Regardless, I see both sides of the argument, but I have to side with the refs on this one. I think that’s an extremely close charge.

Man, I've been a big Looney supporter since we first got him because I really value players that will actually box out and rebound, but it drives me crazy that as soon as he gets beat on defense it's an AUTOMATIC touch foul 3 point play every god damn time. Somehow he has a reputation as a "smart" defender when he's been doing this his whole career. I was actually going to ask you a few games ago what you thought about Wiggins' footwork; sometimes he looks so smooth and other times it seems like there is a lot of inefficient/wasted movement. I prefer when he is bullying guys around the rim to when he is doing his perimeter/step-back game, but I feel like his inconsistent footwork prevents him from doing it more often. I also think bulking up a bit could help him on offense, but I guess if it would affect his quickness/perimeter defense it wouldn't be worth it.

Jerry Heverly

I think Kerr is the best coach in the league, but some of his personnel decisions baffle me: I tried to watch Wannamaker's defense, he didn't seem that great to my untrained eye. He isn't going to be with the team next year so why play him?

Jerry Heverly

Why not find out if Poole can cut down his turnovers? He certainly can penetrate in ways that Wannamaker can't imagine. And why so little time for jta? He seems to outplay Wiggins when they share the court. And let's find out about Nico. All those things sacrificed for a has been.

Hundreds of millions are being spent on this roster with maybe 4 or 5 NBA players. Someone has to get fired right? I MO they should move on from Meyers. Brilliant personnel manager but horrendous talent evaluator taking players who speak mandarin, wear suits and maybe the softest player at 2 in the lottery. Idk man love the content tho.

athleticalchemy

I feel you.. yall very well could a still won ..how bout a now call.. guess that would take them admitting they were worng

athleticalchemy

Dame probably takes the worst shots in the league.. now does that make it more impressive!? Very subjective ... but I hear you, Dame just goes...

Well you brought up right off the bat what I wondered when I looked at the box score after the game. Wiggins with 14 when Oubre was out? I get maybe that he's been in a slump and maybe he will never be the player we all hope he could be. I do wonder is it really all him? Should Kerr not at least have a few plays drawn up to get him easy points? Surely when one of your main scoring threats is out isn't that the time to run those sort of plays til they don't work anymore.

Musab imran

We rly need to consider trading For Jerami Grant and Miles Plumlee from Detroit they’d fit into Kerr’s system perfectly. Especially a center like Plumlee

Alch its obvious that wiseman doesnt have good hands RN. Been that said you have watched waaay more basketball than i and having worked with young kids, and being the fact that hes only 19... is hands a thing that can be improved? (This is an honest question im not trying to be ironic or anything lol) will they improve till the point where is no longer a limitance to his game? I personally think that he has bad hands, BUT hes speed up (bc hes 19, an hasnt really played a lot and NBA speed is another level) and i see him trying to proove that he has good hands, and if he doesnt catch it clean he moves desperate in order to try get it. Also Loon is just tooo slow with the ball, but yoy have to think that he was going to be our 3rd center. I just love JTA, he just seems like night after night HE WANTS to be a warrior!

Alch your thumbnail for the Brad Video got me ROFL! ngl needed some humor to prep me for the suns matchup with steph and dray getting a rest day.

Wannamaker got to fucking go

Anonymous

You do remember our hall a fame 2-way sniper unexpectedly got laid out for the season and soaks up a max contract slot of the salary

Anonymous

I been saying this too. Ship Wigs and Looney there for those dudes.

Anonymous

In regards to Wiggins, he deserves some time to try and play through this slump. He also deserves some proper coaching from Kerr and his staff to have some decent plays for him in their back pocket. Further down the line though say he doesn't get back into form and we want to give up on him. Who in the hell is going to take him in a trade? I'm not sure any attempt to ship him would be worth it given how much we would likely have to give up.

Anonymous

It would of been and-one, dray would of been shooting one FT for the win
