Most satisfying W so far this season.

Anonymous

If Wanamaker plays like that, I will no longer criticize him lol. I still think Wiseman could use a better PnR partner though. What a game from Oubre.

Anonymous

Strength in numbers!!

Anonymous

Inspiring game for sure

Anonymous

Hey Alc Alex Len got waived from raptors ? U like him as a backup big or nah ?

everest999

It’s really a lot of fun to see everybody getting used to their roles and the whole team finding chemistry. If they keep moving in this direction we could have a way better season than I expected after Klay happened

Anonymous

I damn near lost my mind, Loon with his first career three OH My GOD. All net. ( thats what it felt like😅) Gasol looks washed, Harrell ain't made for the playoffs. And Bron, man I never traded someone off my fantasy team that quickly after just seeing one game. He looks stiff, old plus the floater, post game and footwork makes me throw up. But they probably gon turn it on when the time comes.

Anonymous

Stephs streaky shooting this year has me kinda worried. I know it won't be forever but not gonna act like I'm not slightly frustrated. Maybe it's just me being entitled

Anonymous

still... no lead is safe when playing Golden State!!!! This is reminding me of shades of 2015-16 season where we won a lot of games we probably shouldn't have.

Anonymous

Watching the Warriors this season makes me feel like they also watch your breakdowns

Matt Hanna

Went to bed so happy last night to see the fight in this team return them a W. I think the lakers being the undoubted favorites to win it again is some BS, they are an AD injury away from losing in the first round. Obviously Lebron is too good for that but my point is there are a bunch of good teams that could have a hot run to knock them off

Anonymous

I was so tense in that 4th quarter. It might not have been pretty but this was my favorite win of this season and last. It’s just so satisfying beating LeBron especially with him walking off the court immediately and then blaming the loss all on the refs in his postgame.

Anonymous

Oubre is so much fun to watch on defense, kinda reminds me of watching Steph's offense, cause it feels like anything can happen when he's guarding the ball-handler. He, Wiggins, and Paschall collectively gave us EXACTLY what we need offensively. Huge (and very unexpected) win from these scrappy motherfuckers Looking to wednesday, I feel like these Spurs might be the best team we've played so far that we should EXPECT to beat. It'll be interesting to see how they perform against a bunch of vets and a good coaching system

Natto Santo

Kelly is relax now and his 3 point shooting hands are much softer than before, so those 3s are dropping now.

Anonymous

Oubre is literally more annoying than draymond, lol. but he's on our side now!

Anonymous

Damn, look at how open Oubre is on Steph's last drive, Oubre would've hit that.

Anonymous

What a way to fight

Anonymous

mans still shot 25%. he got a long way to go. keep mixing it up from all three levels and the 3-ball will normalize...

Anonymous

They fought and there were so many points where you said okay that may be it.....but no, they didn't hang their heads they fought harder and that is so fantastic. Dub's effort is not just about this game, it's about a future where we could have Kelly, Dray, Wigs, Klay as very good plus defenders next year with an identity to defend even when it looks like you are out of it and maybe Wiseman might join that plus defender club with experience at some point, throw in a high draft pick that could rebound defend.....I can't wait.

Anonymous

Great W!!! If Dray averaged 10 Pts a game the Dubs are definitely a playoff team. 15 pts, and we in the WCF.

Anonymous

was nice seeing AlfonsoMcKinnie at the end waiting to dab up Steph haha

Anonymous

Few points.., I like Oubre with the second unit. He catches their energy and feistiness. He just goes out there and plays hard. Doesn’t have to think much just be decisive and attack the basket. Dray can’t talk trash no more until he makes a consistent jumper. He’s making too much money and is getting too much space to not make the defense pay. I’m okay with watching the growing pains from wiseman, I know he’ll get better as the season progresses and that’s exciting. Each game we see flashes but also we’re quickly reminded that he’s 19 yrs old and still figuring the nba out. The second unit outplaying the starters is a reality I thought I’d never see. I can recall getting upset when Steph and Dray got subbed back in when we were on a run. I believe they’ll benefit come playoff time (if they make it) of going 10 deep each night. Satisfying win, love the grit and attitude. Didn’t care what the score was they just kept playing. ... side note, is it me or were the lakers whining all game long? I know there’s a few questionable calls each game but dang

Anonymous

Most satisfying win in a while; now we got one on both LA teams. Wondering how we get Paschall more minutes though. He's been so effective that 20mpg just isn't enough

Anonymous

Do you think Oubre’s turnover magic translates to the playoffs when teams are more dialed in?

Anonymous

Hate to say it but Lebron looked washed in this game. The air-balls, missed free throws, looked horrid in the post, dude couldn't even get around Wanamaker. It's like he can't dribble past anybody anymore. I'm afraid we are going to see more games like this from him as his decline puts it in 3rd gear this season

Anonymous

great video, your criticisms of Wiseman and others were fair.

Anonymous

Yes yes yes!!!! This game was a grind. I loved our defense and of course love the win regardless of context. Wiseman is having what I would imagine is a predictable slump after the initial baptism of fire that playing in the NBA must feel like at 19 years old but I fully expect that young man to absorb this stuff and he will become a dominant force for years to come

Daniel Fries

What's Oubre's 3 pt % when Steph's on the floor v. when he isn't?

Anonymous

We much rather get Dewayne Dedmon. Just as big, physical, and a good 3point shooter

Branden Edwards

Anthony Davis stats when guarded by Draymond: 29 possessions, 3 points, 4 assists, 1-7, 0-1 from 3, 1-2 from FT. AD wasn't passive, he got clamped.

Anonymous

Best damn win of the year

Anonymous

Did Kerr unlock something defensively with the second unit purposely with the 3 guard lineup or was it accidental? Wannamaker shut down Lebron on two possessions, and i know its a small sample size, but is that little dude able to cover 4's?

Anonymous

1:52 Wiseman should've caught that, but why wasn't it a lob? The whole "not comfortable throwing him lobs" thing is so weird to me.

Anonymous

thanks for great analysis ... again Its nice to see the voice in my head during the games seems to be shared by others. Hope an assistant and/or players on the warriors has a patreaon account with your analysis, it would do them good.

Anonymous

An additional comment. Wisemans hands are not good. And unless he trains for this weakness, they never will be much better. We learn skill by concentration and intention. Draymonds mother was not off when she suggested that somebody throw a bunch of tennis balls at his face. Sooner or later, whatever the issue with Wiseman and his sloppy hands seems to be would start to rectify itself. Wiseman seems similar to a big puppy. Little steps of progress and encouragement will help. As long as he cares and the willingness to concentrate, he will grow. Really loved that he smacked the gatorade cooler.

Major Powers

motherfucker said kuzma has vidal sassoon hair i am dying

Anonymous

Wanamaker deserves more credit for last night's game, he's been way better than people expected for a vet in terms of creating his own shot and on ball defense.

Anonymous

It'll be really telling to see how he handles frustration over the next month.

athleticalchemy

A competitive playoff team is really all you could ever ask for.. I think that's in part what Kerr was always referring too with "the real NBA"

athleticalchemy

We can really say if X teams best player gets hurt they are done. But it feels more sketchy with a 36 year old Bron a injury prone AD and a washed Gasol

athleticalchemy

You would think he would be better at handling Ls at this point.. But it always cuts deeper against Steph

Anonymous

I mean way better than expected in last night's game. for the season he's largely been underwhelming. Remember we got alec Burks and GRIII last year on minimum deals. Brad got above the min. So really he's not playing too his expectations as of yet. last night was a good sign tho.

athleticalchemy

I thought for sure he would have been in on the last offensive possession, kerr went with Lee to spread out tho cant complain

athleticalchemy

I think it will he is so unique in that way.. you never see a guy that size do those things and it throws guys off.. he pokes the ball away at least 3x a game.. maybe not even a TOV but just a rhythm breaker.

Jerry Heverly

Am I wrong? It seemed to me that Kerr told Oubre, you will be on the floor whenever Lebron is on the floor.' It wasn't that he was playing with the second unit...? His defense was the linchpin of this game, he shut down Lebron as much as any human could......It seemed like, in the fourth quarter, that each player took a turn dominating the action, first Oubre, then Looney (!), then Wiggins (two three's and an assist), then Wannamaker, then Steph........Every player on the second unit had a positive +/-(Looney +19); every starter was negative........Why is the second unit effective? Hustling defense and constant ball movement on offense.

athleticalchemy

IDK what to make of that.. was that more Bron just being a weirdo or what.. but I am encouraged with Brad's adjustments offensively

athleticalchemy

I thought I gave him his due for last night.. he has had some trash games tho early lets not front.

John Z

Felt like we had the bodies necessary to temper Lebron, our length, defense and second effort are dope. Great stuff as always

Anonymous

Man JP needs more minutes! you can tell his decision making is much better

Anonymous

Oh I wasn't referring to you, but the Warriors fan base in general. He had some really bad early games but the entire roster did too.

Anonymous

It’s gonna be games like these that make you go back to the screens shots of hypothetical trade machines and go, “hmm maybe just stand pat?”

Ravi Dissanayake

I didn’t like our overall offensive possessions one bit. They looked all over the place. I think the coaching staff really need to think deeply of what kind of offence works for our current squad. I’m glad our defence is fuelling our offence but we need our offence to fuel our defence at times as well. What a lucky win

Russ

I sure hope Wisemans hands get better, they look really bad, I don't even know if it's all strength, some people just don't have good hands. Earl Campbell couldn't catch swing passes for his entire career and it wasn't a strength issue. I'm legit worried. Hopeful, but worried.

Anonymous

Moses Malone had hands of a 5'9 guy but dominated the glass, I think Wiseman will develop it over time considering he already has decent handles for a center

athleticalchemy

Yeah I’m worried.. if it’s reflex’s rather than hands of stone like Adonal..then as he starts to be able to anticipate and process quicker that should help a lot.

Anonymous

Tell me why my mans oubre was trying to fight someone after every basket 😂. Flex on em young gun 💪🏻

Anonymous

Loved seeing Oubre do his best Frank Drebin from The Naked Gun impression after causing turnovers. Got to love how feisty he is even if his game has been pretty inconsistent. Hopefully this game was a sign that perhaps he has started to turn the corner on the offensive end. This was one of Loons better games this season but I don't think we can rely on seeing them all that often. We still really really need another option for the center position. Looking a little further ahead am I wrong? But isn't Oubre basically a one year rental for us? Lakob already broke the bank to pay him this season surely keeping him long term is a pipe dream? As much as the idea intrigues me. On to the Lakers, I wouldn't get too hyped up about this win. I don't think they are necessarily the prohibitive favourites a lot of the media would suggest but I'm certainly not about to join the Lebron and Gasol are washed up bandwagon haters. Even as Gasol becomes more and more fossilized on defense his playmaking and size is still incredibly valuable. Bron eventually will start to show his age in more real ways and maybe that is this season who knows. That IQ of his though will continue to make him one of the best players in the league until the day he retires. Let's hope no player on any team not just Draymond suffers any serious complications with Covid. Plenty of younger people have died around the world, it ain't just an old persons virus.

Anonymous

Paschall is actually doing better at playing as a C than a PF. That should be our strat for the 2nd unit; Paschall as a center and cover him with shooters.

AK

The entire time they were fighting back, i thought to myself ... just get close enough to give ol' bron a chance to choke lmao

Anonymous

I noticed EP was really the only player who showed any emotion after lebron missed his game-winner attempt. Makes sense because he’s an emphatic player, but is this the squad beginning to expect wins?🤫🤫

Anonymous

Oubre is growing on me, love his energy. Also face palmed when Loon took that corner 3, but he made it lmao

Anonymous

Any reason why Poole isn't getting minutes?

Anonymous

I was hyped when Curry made that three I knew just coming into the game Lebron was gonna be bothered by our athleticism and length and defense. Just watching the game I knew we were gonna coming back especially how Wiseman had 5 fouls when he was playing. Appreciate your analysis like always G!

Anonymous

Great win. I was so dammed hyped in the morning when I woke up to see the score (I live way outside the US). Let's cut the 19-year-old a little slack. Fakers are about as good as last year IMHO. Shroeder and Motrez are nice additions and will help them coast through the reg season and limit AD/Bron's minutes. But I liked Javale/Dwight over Gasol for their shot blocking and Length and I think Gasol may gass out by the playoffs.

Anonymous

6:34 Oubre's hezzy and slash for the layup was the exact hope I had for him (on offense) when I saw him attempt a corner 3. This was obviously his best game overall, but it still feels like he's watching the ball way more than he did early on...when arguably he was moving around too damn much. 4:59 EP Triple Threat penetration was really nice too. We know Poole has that move too, so if Wanamaker can perfect it...his bull in the china shop penetration and passing will really help.

Anonymous

Alc now you gotta break down the nets-cavs man that game was insane and it also showed us a lot about how the big 3 may operate
