Would it be possible to do a draft video on Devin Vassell out of Florida State? IF we drafted down this year, he is my pick. Has a bit of Khris Middleton in him

Great breakdown as usual...Any plans to do Okongwu and Saddiq Bey scouting reports in the future?

Anonymous

I can see him being high on Kerr's list of draft prospects. It's going to be a hard decision if it comes down to Okoro vs Edwards.

Thanks Alchemy your content is super appreciated always, but even more so in these times. Just checked out Devin Vassell's highlights, he seems great!. I have no idea how are these draft prospects are being evaluated.

Hope we trade down and get Saddiq Bey.. Instantly can play right behind Wiggins and guard 1-4’s.

I was watching some of his games as well, he looks great, and what stands out the most for me is his IQ on the defense, especially off-ball D, reminds of Iggy on the perimeter (I may be reaching now haha)

🙏🏽.... I think it could cause a surprising lotto. I’m trying to make sure to cover the consensus top 10... but it seems to be super dynamic.

Okongwu for sure! Bey I got to see. These take more time than they probably should, but I really want to form my own opinion on each prospect. But yeah man I mean if we don’t have any end of season tournament, I’m sure I’ll get to all these guys.

athleticalchemy

Especially in this limited quarantined evaluation. Zoom wouldn’t cut it for me if I was making the decision.

I’m still pretty high on Avidja. I can’t put my finger on it exactly but I like his attitude and his competitive drive. Feels like a good fit with the Dubs but what do I know

Was listening to this while working and it struck me that if you weren't watching the film, and didn't hear the name, you might think Alchemy was giving us a breakdown of Eric Paschall. Strong athlete, contact finisher, straight line player, who gets to the line a lot. I'm not sure what the draft will look like, but I think there are worse things than a bench mob of goons that just put their shoulders into other teams 2nd units

athleticalchemy

I didn’t even make the correlation! But your right! He is in a way the guard version of EP.

Low to the ground - what did his screens look like?

"there's no James Michael McAdoo in him" hahaha great vid

It’s not that I don’t like the kid, especially since he’s defensive minded, I just think with a top 5 pick guaranteed the Dubs should look at players with bigger impacts on the other side of the floor. Toronto last year showed how bad we needed offense from other guys (Kerr going to Quin Cook at times over Iggys defense) and with Draymond in a semi decline and not being able to count on Wiggins, I think they need to look at guys who can create their own shot. If we were picking 8-14 I’d say go for him. Would rather have Deni, Edwards or Toppin.

athleticalchemy

true true... but Ep and even Poole appear to be headed that direction. But im not gonna lie if they took him over Edwards id be pissed!

athleticalchemy

didn't see many.. he mostly stood on the weak side and attacked right of the catch. But if I had to guess based off his physicality he is fine in that area

Please do a video on Tyler and Saddiq bey. Considering the Dubs might trade down to lower picks in the draft, I think either of these guys would be good pick ups for the warriors, and could contribute immediately.
