Told u I was gonna be that first view👀

imma be the petty gf and ignore the dubs for a few games

What do you think of this trade for DLo? Warriors get: Myles Turner, TJ Warren, and Roco Timberwolves get: DLo and Warriors First Pacers get: Wiggins and Timberwolves First

Anonymous

What do you mean Marquisse Chriss last basket as a Warrior Alc??

Anonymous

Chriss got waived to make room for damion lee much to dub nations chagrin. I love Chriss and I thought he would be a part of our long term plans

Anonymous

Wow really??? Aww man I thought he would be part of our long term plans as well he's been our best rim protector. That sucks. Yeah much to our chagrin indeed.

Major Powers

The dubs are not above nepotism, obviously. Same way we were keeping Cook around to entice KD, Lee is on the roster as a thank-you for Steph making the franchise what it is today.

Anonymous

Na cmon I don't think it's a nepotism thing he's clearly been balling but we still have Smiley and Spellman and WCS as bugs maybe it was a decision for the lacking backcourt situation right now in case they plan to trade DLO and or Burks

Kahlil Baker

That is still Crazy to me! I really started to like Chriss, I rather lose WCS over him.

Anonymous

That's definitely a trade I'd make I'd rather have kept Chriss and let WCS go to some other team

Anonymous

Wow I can't believe we cut Chriss 🤦🏽‍♀️ Like games weren't unbearably boring as it was. Nobody wants to see Green, GR3, Lee, Burks and WCS throwing games away man, we're already trash, just freaking start the young guys, our vets don't need more minutes, they don't even want them. I know we have to be patient but damn, games are becoming unwatchable at this point Dlo, Poole, Paschal, Chriss, Spellman with Evans and Smailagic off the bench sounds 20 times more appealing.

Matt Hanna

Sad to see Chriss go but you gotta do something with still a lot of season left and little scoring. Hopefully he can make a return at some point to the team when the squad is healthy

Anonymous

IDK about Myles Turner, he's always expected to step up next season and just doesn't. To me this heavily benefits the wolves and pacers.

Anonymous

Serious question, do we need to make an excuse to play Burks, GR3, Lee and WCS off the bench? I mean they're literally bench players, would the league fine us for tanking or something?

Anonymous

The fact that WCS is still on the roster while we have to get rid of Chriss, due to cap rules, is wild. Hope Chriss gets an opportunity somewhere else.

Extra sad about Chriss...

I wonder how much of Chriss being waived had an impact on Kerr's ejection last night. I mean they waived the guy in his hometown. I know I was floored when I heard it. Damion Lee has been ok these last couple of games but I wouldn't have given Chriss's roster spot for him at his age. Woj is saying its multi year deal too. I bet John Oliver is stunned by this move too. 😂

Ugh I’m not a fan of Chriss being the one they cut 😑

athleticalchemy

not bad! Initially I was like not the pick! But looking at the other two pieces thats a pretty good haul. JF said MT has been disappointing, still young tho.

Anonymous

Tbh yeah .. It might be a case of nepotism after Alc gave me that perspective on the last video.

athleticalchemy

Maybe once the deadline comes and goes, or they realize they cant move them. The will stop trying to display them.

If we do the deal, we have a starting lineup of Steph, Klay, Warren, Draymond and Turner, and when you want to go small you have Dray slide to the 5, Roco play the 4, Warren, Klay and Steph. That's a solid lineup through and through. Even if Turner hasnt been up to par, you're adding multiple team friendly deals for young players (Warren ~25 and Turner is ~23)

Thomas Ogas

My first reaction was "D'Lo AND the lottery pick?!" but after taking a deep breath, this trade actually does build a very solid and deep team.

In the NBA, and especially on our team, a guard MUST TAKE any open 3 point shot. No NBA worthy guard is shooting worse than 33% on open 3s. Most are closer to 40%. That's a point per possession. And it forces defenses to defend the whole floor and then opens up backcuts, drives off of fakes, lobs, etc. I don't give a damn if they're cold from 3, keep shooting it. Once we make one, everything else gets easier.
