Coach, how much pressure do you think magic and lebron has after that KD comment? Since the majority of the superstars are echoing his statement

Anonymous

Viagra legs. 😂😂 Come on Alch don't do him like that

Anonymous

I think KD's arms are even longer than Antetokounmpo's

athleticalchemy

I think Magic may have to promise AD some stake in his empire and his life elixir! Haha nah! point being AD seems like the only tier 1 one guy that is a realistic possibility in the near future.

I had the idea for a while when i've watched the Bucks that as a group they are very good at driving to the basket but you know I never noticed until you said it, you're right AA, they are straight line drivers the opposites of a Kyrie Irving, it'll be important for the Warriors to focus on that.

Anonymous

The way the Bucks played Steph kinda reminded me of the Cavs defensive gameplan in the Finals. Double Steph on every PnR no matter what. This guy was even getting triple teamed on some possessions. Thank god Jerebgoat was hitting his shots. If we meet in the Finals, we’re really gonna have to run that Steph-KD PnR.

I don't get the insane hype around giannis, he's crazy strong but I think kd is better than giannis will ever be, and the media acts like giannis is the GOAT to be. I think the media just assumes everyone's going to learn how to shoot if you give them a couple of years, when that's clearly not the case.

athleticalchemy

Its not as aggressive and I think it makes Steph hesitate he is not positive its a full trap or hard hedge.

Anonymous

Great video alc. Andre’s contributions were massive in this game, he was our best defender on the floor. When we get Draymond back and roll out the death lineup, if Iggy is clamping like that it’s good night Irene for whoever we’re playing. He just had more vigor last night. You’ve got to wonder if that’s because it was a nationally televised game and he took some pride in his performance. If that’s the case it bodes really well for a monster playoffs from him.

Anonymous

I think the unguardable think about 'head knock' is gonna be Boogies three point shot. In the sequence you showed, (13:15)you'll see that Loon had two opportunities to pull the trigger on a relatively open three. First, when he gave the ball to KD in the post and second, after the screen, he could've stayed at the three point line rather than cutting to the rim.

Anonymous

Also I gotta say, Mckinnie has been wonderful for us. The last couple games I was apprehensive that he could pick up where he left off in terms of shooting because like you said, athleticism is rarely accompanied by marksmanship but he’s still sniping. Great acquisition by the Ws.

athleticalchemy

I with you! He is more spectacular, thats what fools a lot of people. He will give you 2 or 3 plays a game where your like WTF was that! Honestly Im not a huge fan of watching his game. Like I said Id go the post route, learn a dream shake and how to turn over both shoulders.

Anonymous

It just feels so good to have a hustle bench with McKinnie and Jerebko. Last couple years felt like the bench was so old and slow.. these boys work for their bread. McKinnie having that green light to shoot is key too. What team do you think is the toughest matchup for the Warriors? I think the Bucks are harder than the Raptors right now due to their physical guards who can disrupt Steph.

athleticalchemy

IDK! I like Toronto's bench, Home court and Superstar better. But you're right that doesn't mean they match up better against us.

Anonymous

Nice seeing playoff Andre. Wonder how the warriors bench feel busting their ass and see Andre flip the switch only on "important" games

athleticalchemy

haha good point! He has OG status tho...they see how he steps up on to the BUs with those knees after games.

Hate watching Giannis play, it's like watching LeBron but even more shoulder dips which are arguably offensive fouls. This game showed how hard it is for Giannis to score when facing proper pseudo zone and help defense because he lacks a perimeter game. Bench went off this game but we have to remember it's all because of the gravity by KD and Steph drawing double teams. Both played excellent defense and found the right man. Look at our team assist numbers compared to Bucks! If anyone paid close attention, you'd see that the 3 all-stars on this team are having strange years. Steph missing open layups, KD missing open 3s, and Klay missing open 3s. They can make the tough shots but can't get the easy ones. It's probably a rhythm issue since they all focused on specific aspects of their game this year, Steph on his 3s and Klay on his midrange fadeaways.

athleticalchemy

I think its to early to say its strange. We haven't really had a full squad and then thrown in the drama.

I've said this a million times already but I really want Kerr to set some more specific plays for Steph and KD. The team is relying too much on Steph's off ball movement and misdirection, which works against the lesser teams but against a team like the Bucks it's much less effective. What if the bench players couldn't hit their open 3s yesterday? Kerr is very stubborn about relying on PnR, maybe because he enjoys having a secret weapon in pocket for the post season. But come on. Now that KD stopped operating in the post, there's so much more space to work with. Look how many great plays he was able to make just from beyond the arc. We just need one other player on the court that can threaten to shoot a 3 at all times.

hey Alch what do u think about Luca Doncic

Anonymous

Thanks Alchemy. Great video. I always learn new things with your insight, and you have extra footage/angles that I miss. Salud. You're the best.

Anonymous

great vid. at 14:06, you didn't show it in your video but Bledsoe gave Steph a clear push off so he could get that last 3PtA off.. I'm with u tho.. I don't think Steph likes the guy

Anonymous

I LOVE seeing Andre go coast to coast, with a jam at the end. I don't know why that is so damn satisfying to watch, but it is. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Anonymous

Word. There was one stretch where he committed 2 (3?) fouls on Steph and I felt Steph was at the boiling point, but wanted to maintain. He just went into killa mode.

Anonymous

You know how you sometimes mention "know your personnel"? That should also be applied to your own teammates, at 3:09 livingston should have expected that pass from jbell knowing how he likes to give that extra pass.

Anonymous

Andre was just trying to remind you he can still play, it's just the regular season. He be watching yo vids being like yo, I gotta get this dude off my shit! Haha. It'd be nice if he played like that every game, but as long as he still got it for the playoffs, I don't care. You aren't only one who mentioned Steph post game and how me don't like this match up, so y'all are probably on to something.

Anonymous

its so good to see us getting some effort wins, i think in most other games with both steph and kd not playing too well we'd have lost because of a lack of effort. this time it seemed they wanted this win. i also cant tell whats more hype for me, seeing igoudala dunk this late in his career, or seeing looney shoot jumpshots. both make me jump out my seat, even if looney doesnt make it

Russ

Hill will help the Bucks. He's solid from 3 this year esp. and he can defend. But the problem with this team is they don't have a leader. The Freak can't shoot as we all can see, so you just double him when he drives but if they get him driving and dishing they will be more and more like last years Rockets. AA great tips on getting into him before he gets going downhill, disrupt his dribble. If they knock down open 3's then things get tough with all their rebounding. Also AA I agree the Freak will likely never be a shooter past 15 feet, and that will keep him out of the Superstar status like you said. I'd much rather have ADavis.

Anonymous

McKinnie & Jerebko gotta be our most consistent bench players since Barbosa & Speights. Hope this can carry on to the playoffs.

Russ

TS I gotta believe there are Dub fans everywhere screaming at their TV's for Loon to shoot.

Russ

I do miss The Blur and Mo, they could both score at will. McKinnie and Jerebko can also rebound and defend. And that usually is a constant, you got to love both of their hustle and that both aren't afraid of the 3.

Anonymous

Naw, you're not reaching, I called the same thing when I watched the end of the game. The elbow Curry through that hit Bledsoe in the mouth was possibly intentional. And Steph was trying to get away so he wouldn't have to do any interviews or shake hands cuz he felt some kind of way about the way they were putting hands on him all night.

Anonymous

Also going back over the game, you brought up KD not hanging his head and still fighting. Well ya know what I just saw, KD SET A SCREEN! Like one where he purposefully made contact to get curry free for the 3. And he did it more than once. It's like you said ALCH, not only did he not hang his head and keep battling, but he like became Draymond Green. He had Assist, turnovers, rebounds, defense (ok not quite Dray good but still). You wonder if he's thinking to himself like "yo,you suck K, that's why you gotta bang dis dudes nuts right here, can't make 20 ass bitch" while setting that screen.! 🤣😂 fR though it's like he knew he was shooting so bad he really had to do the dirty shit. But damn man, THAT SCREEN! 👀👀 That shit was a sight to behold! Fucking beautiful. I was starting to think, maybe he was just one of the ones to slip through the cracks. Like he was late on how to make contact with a screen, and only showed up during the how to slip a screen part of practice. Then he was just so good that coach never said anything. I could've believed that. I would've listened to that argument. BUT NOW, NOW we KNOW he can do it. 🤣😂🤣

Jansen E

Now no one on the bench got 20 points individually, but 12 and 15 from Iggy and Jerebko! I might as well have been right with my prediction!! No one would have expected 11 points from Durant. But this game was 150% about the OTHERS! The entire team stepped up. This was a great wholesome team victory.

Anonymous

Yup agree with you. Also, it was the end of 10 day road trip. That's a long time to be away from family and your own bed. Curry was like get me the f___k outta here.

Bailey

In some ways Steph walking away at the end was like a mic drop moment! Anyway, there's a clip of Steph postgame with Giannis & some of the Bucks in their prayer huddle. The Bucks stopped the Warriors winning streak back in November so naturally there's this heightened motivation coming into this game. They were much better prepared this time. Everyone rose to the occasion. They didn't take their foot off the gas. I think Andy Liu tweeted something like Andre's going back to hibernation now lol and at the Burke interview, Andre saying "May June is what I like" with a knowing grin is everything! I love this team! Can't wait for Dray to be back!

*game 27 I think

athleticalchemy

I think we all know how important he is. So it heightens our fear or paranoia of him going to turn it on and its not there. I got to remind myself how much of a pro he is and how well he takes care of his body. With todays sports science maybe will never see it. He could win one or 2 more and ride of into the sunset.

athleticalchemy

Its funny what charisma and looks can do for you...He is defiantly beating AD in those two categories. I think that has a lot to do with his status. No doubt he is a "star" player but to take him over AD! And I think alot of people would.

athleticalchemy

Haha KD you can say what you want about his character of the court, but he is a game. I can't ever really recall him truly discouraged in a game. Frustrated, pressing...yeah but stop competing never.

Anonymous

i wonder if that loss in accurate passing is a result of being sped up themselves e.g., KD on the defensive end. like the muscles are too spazzed from the defensive side. bledsoe had curry's drive then over head hook pass on lock. too predictable

athleticalchemy

There is something to that. When your playing harder on defense it can mess with your rhythm offensively. Klay it helps, Steph not so much right. He likes to be lose and relaxed shooting the ball. I think KD is just use to having more of a length advantage. Being able to just throw it over the top a guys.

Anonymous

Giannis can't be DPOY, he lacks the bball IQ. He's playing in the wrong era. I hope people are seeing how much of an impact Draymond makes on offense. People think he's just some defensive player. If Draymond plays this game, we blow them out by 30.

Viagra legs!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 Tears are literally in my eyes!!!!

Anonymous

Horse meat for breakfast!!!!! 😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I can't!

11:44 I love that slow walk in as the 3 is in the air. Steph did that a lot in 2015-16.
