Looney has earned his minutes and deserves to start them all now at least till boogie comes back.

The ball was really moving, people were cutting and that was good to see.

Lin needs a hairstylist.

Had to say this before I watched... Was it just me or was Trae Young trying his hardest to out-do Steph last night?? Lol I like the kid thou, brilliant passer for an nba player period... Also Alc, I think last night solved ya question about Torean Prince either being good or benefiting off of being on a bad team and being given the green light cause he was stinking it up until he got "Zaza-ed" smh But yeah Dubs needed this win to get back into the swing of things for sure...

Looney looking seriously confident. I love it. Jerebko with gooood looking points, even though there weren't many. We miss him when he's not with the bench lineup. Hoping McKinnie comes back and helps us out with more defense and transition points for the bench.

McKinney was rebounding before he got hurt and we will definitely need to rebound by committee.

You aren’t gonna show that looney sham god?

Lol a "laxative" game. Steph's last pull up 3 on Trae summarizes this whole game. The way he pushes the pace of the game led to so many transition points, it's a big part of why KD was even more efficient than usual. Once we get Draymond back, the offense will be even faster and more chaotic. Is it just me or is Jordan Bell way worse than last season? Last season we were impressed by his athleticism and he showed signs that he can be a great rim protector and set good screens for the shooters. Alch you talked about how rare black coaches are in the NBA. Well Doc Rivers made some pretty interesting comments about being a black coach, not sure if you read about it yet.

Let's be real that close out by Shaun Livingston is disgusting. No NBA player should attempt that, doesn't matter if he's part of the team. It's a dirty play and Shaun is smart enough to know better considering what happened to him. Dude didn't even look guilty.

What is your take on everyone saying KD is for sure gone after this season? Considering he’s been so involved in the new Chase Center

athleticalchemy

Dang don’t know what happened I’m sure I noted it. But was it really! He threw ahead but kept it in the same hand then threw it up to hard.

athleticalchemy

I did! Very interesting points... that I didn’t think about. For me coaching 14 yr olds they are still in search of that figure.

Great take, as always. Looking forward to your Dončić vid!

I was curious to Iggy in the starting lineup as well, especially against this weak Atlanta squad. My take is they’ve pushed back Dray’s return date (for reasons I’ve already hypothesized) and they are seeing how Iggy can fill the Point-Foward position. He is no longer an offensive spark off the bench, so maybe he could be a cheap mans Draymond on the defensive end and as a primary distributor. Just a thought. Otherwise I can’t comprhend him getting the start.

Lin could pull off the Sholin Monk look with the mostly shaved head and one long braid lol that would be comical...

I like how you said it: Igoudala with the prideful game. We can all see that he just isn't what he used to be (maybe in the playoffs he flips the switch again but who knows). His recent comments that he might done soon- you think he retires after this year? Shaun might be done too. Hopefully we can retain Jerebko and McKinnie to be the core of the second unit with Cook.

You didn’t get a clip of Looney’s shamgod on trae young alc! That boy can kind of handle.

Anonymous

I like Andre in the starting lineup, it lets curry be a 2nd sg and just run around screens and get open. Jerebko gives us more spacing with his shooting but it basically leaves just curry and kd to facilitate.

Is that Devonta Freeman at 12:43? Lol

no need to be disrespectful, Kobe

why hasnt mckinnie been playing?

Foot injury. Also fighting McCaw in a 1 vs 1 boxing match for the roster spot.

Glad to see Kerr being proactive finally in staying on the team after the 6 game road losing streak. Good call on that, much more POP, and a whole lot less PHIL. I think the euros are better at reloading in the same spot Justin simply because they’ve been playing the space and shoot game so much longer, so they grew up doing it. And let’s be real, that ethnicity does regularly lend to guys with amazing hang time or very quick lateral and recovery skills, so the shooters probably don’t need to add in the extra dribble and sidestep as they’re learning it, plus all the added variables mean the possibility for more mistakes. The Jerebko shot it actually looked like he never got the chance to really reset his shot, his feet and hands were out of sync, the shot looked funny the whole way, even leaving his hands. No clue how that went it man.

"I'll take a technical bitch." :D

Looney has saved our asses this season. Don't know where'd we be without him. He is an all NBA defense type player. While he's not as good as a defender as Draymond, all of our best lineups defensive ratings wise have Looney in them. Igoudala as well. Looney has become such a high IQ player. He just needs to keep working on those 3's bc if he ever figures out how to make 3's consistently, it's over for the rest of the league.

I need a 20 pt night from Kevon Looney!!!! I know hes got it in him. I gotta SEE it. This was definitely a get-right game. As the game was actually incredibly boring. The game had some flow and the Chef was cooking, but damn. There was just like....no energy or intensity in the game except for a few defense spurts in the first half. Its almost as if Atlanta knew coming into the game that the Warriors were gonna treat this like a practice game. They had like 10 turnovers in the first quarter and didnt even look upset about it.
