Oh great, that's 15, correction, 17 more minutes till I can go to bed. Dude, I've got a game tomorrow morning, why are you doing this to me? 😂

athleticalchemy

sorry yall! I got up and went right to work this morning! It was just a long one!

Anonymous

Great stuff Alc, love seeing Looney develop like this. Jerebko is the exact kind of guy we want around here- think we retain him for the future?

Anonymous

great game. i felt really happy for JJ and sdot. and LOONEY shooting jumpers!!!! keep breeding those unicorns

Anonymous

Great breakdown Alchemy! Yo! You got a Venmo?

Anonymous

Worth watching even though it looked hopeless and ended in a loss....but not that painful.

Kahlil Baker

Looking at this game I'm thinking Toronto won't be able to beat a fully healthy Warriors team. The fact that they struggled to put this one away, it doesn't look like it would be a great Finals series.

Anonymous

Andre was crap in this game.

Regardless of the L, I liked what I saw in this game... KD also shocked me with the transition shot from the logo... Not that he can't make it, but I know who he was emulating... That particular shot usually gets the team hype and ready to mount a comeback... And this game kinda showed me more about the Raptors... I just don't believe in them yet, Kawhi and all... Dubs at full strength would have there way with em... Also Damien Jones is a good kid, but you are 100% about him... He just reminds me of an unpolished created player on 2k in the rookie showcase in my career mode smh I hate how he looks salty everytime he messes up like focus my g don't hang ya head smh...

Thanks for all the hard work Alchemy. After wins or loses I’m always looking forward to the breakdowns.

Jeppe Oliver Danielsen

5:30 that right there is why im so hyped about Jordan Bell.

Anonymous

thanks alch great game maybe finals preview i really wish klay couldve hit those late game 3s to pull it out

Anonymous

Damn fam. You hit the nail on the head for me when you spoke about wanting this one for kd. I would've loved for him to be rewarded for his effort

Anonymous

WBeautiful epic 18 point comeback. I wanted this for KD's performance. Turnovers in OT by Iggy, Klay, Jerebko (travel) and even KD cost Warriors the game. But, what a game!

Anonymous

Kd really got his rhythm when Valanciunas was victimized in the PnR, but speaking of useless bigs, DJones was a whopping -20 in 10 minutes! Raptors had an OffRtg Of over 172 while he was out there! It is very safe to say that we win this game if he didn’t see the floor

Anonymous

Would have won if mike brown was coaching kerr and his socialist coaching style lost this game. Yes andre and klay turnover weren't helpful but Kerr playing jones and overall crappy subs had us playing from behind all game. Looney had a plus 20 but guess who gets the starting job every game

Anonymous

Was 20-8 in the 1st quarter. D Jones starts every game and digs a hole for Looney and Bell to climb out of

Anonymous

If it was an important game DJ wouldn't be starting. Looney took over in the playoffs last year while Zaza rode the bench. DJ is the only center on contract for next year, only reason they're trying to develop him at all costs

athleticalchemy

I think that’s what also made me feel bad for IG... he was obviously well aware of the performance that was squandered.

1. Klay is doing an AMA on reddit at 7 pm. Should be fun. 2. KD was so damn clutch this game. This is definitely one of his best games ever, it's crazy that's what it took to almost beat this Raptors team. 3. An article every Warrior fans should read: https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/11/29/18117449/eight-thoughts-warriors-raptors What the article indicates is that the Warriors have drastically changed its winning formula over the years. How often does this team blowout teams like it used to? I don't think this is just an effort issue for the regular season either. The stats tell a vastly different story. A quote from the article: "The Warriors are, however, trading layups and dunks for midrange jumpers. They’ve tried a lower percentage of shots in the restricted area than any other team in the NBA (28 percent), and since Kerr’s first season, they’ve taken the highest percentage of midrange shots (40.2 percent). These numbers are effectively the inverse of the Dwane Casey–led Raptors teams that were bashed for their archaic style before switching it up last season." Even when Steph was healthy, this team was taking an absurd number of midrange shots in favor of 3 pointers. We don't get enough foul calls because guys on this team are too scared to risk drives and guys like Iguodala/ Livingston have lost their athleticism. Rest of the league, especially the Bucks and Raptors, are now utilizing the 2014-2016 Warriors formula better than the Warriors themselves! 4. Anyone get sick of the Warriors commentators? I mean my goodness, keep the homer bias down to a reasonable level. Can't stand Fitzgerald's voice.

athleticalchemy

Lol I feel you! It’s hard to verbalize right! There is something that some of us are seeing that just let’s us know like.....kid ain’t got it.

athleticalchemy

It’s hard to spring in to real duty when you have been planning to coast for the next 4 months.

athleticalchemy

Really depends on their youngsters, do they continue to get better? How do they look under playoff lights?

Anonymous

Nah, they made the correct call on that Kawhi strip on Durant . After seeing the initial replay I thought it would for sure be overturned, but there was one camera angle they showed super slowed down that showed it just barely glance off Durant's figure tips after Kawhi touched it. It was super freaking close though.

Anonymous

"Finger tips" - dont know why autocorrect changed that to figure lol

athleticalchemy

I think we do! I also think he has already kinda “lost a step” with his size I think what you see now is what you could presumably get for 2-3 years.

athleticalchemy

Getting away with it because we have 3 all time great shooters. I don’t get the home crew that much with all the national games. But let me tell you! They are not nearly as bias as some of these crews! I’ve heard Denver’s crew just groan in and be silent while the other team is on a run. Lakers crew probably most unbiased... Bob as annoying as his bad sarcasm is is relatively neutral.

athleticalchemy

Okay 😔.... did you have tnt? I feel like the national telecast sometimes goes real light on replays in case it’s a bad call. But I admit I wasn’t sure I was going off KD and ball rotation.

Anonymous

Looney was ridiculous clutch this game as well. He's the reason we got extra possessions against the Raptors (they shot a much better FG%, but less attempts starting from the 3rd). His rebounding instinct is absolutely insane, maybe the best on this team even ahead of Draymond.

Anonymous

I get frustrated every time Bell gets open near the basket and gets the pass and only to kick it out. Most of the time he's open cause nobody's gonna pass to him if he's not. If you're a big and you get a good pass down low, finish it! Frackin A.

Anonymous

Yeah, I watched TNT. They showed a bunch of different angles at different speeds. You could make a case that Durant didn't touch it in all of the different camera angles, except one that showed the tiniest of grazes. It was such a slight touch, he might not have even felt it.

Anonymous

i do believe the refs were trigger happy on travel calls, and the raps did get called on a few early on the game at least twice on one of the raps younger players (either anunoby or siakham) i actually wondered if they were favoring the warriors, but they got the dubs at the end lol

athleticalchemy

I guess I see what I want to see 😎... the IG travel call the gave us one quick look.

athleticalchemy

At this point calling anything more than a clear extra step or pivot switch is a slippery slope. They all travel on the catch like every other possession

athleticalchemy

I hear you! He like so many of our guts don’t want to go to the line is what it boils down too.

Anonymous

I knew kd was gonna big dick this game, fucking dj out there playing like a retarded puppy, was surprised he got minutes in the second half lol

Anonymous

Felt like everytime he was on someone they were scoring, he just doesn't seem to contest jumpers very well

Anonymous

Wish they had a stat for how many times it's his man taking the shot, it feels like it's damn near every play he is on the court

Anonymous

I love bell as a player, it can be infuriating when he expends energy to get in a great position and can’t collect the pass with two hands on the ball. Really should be a skill he has mastered by now.

athleticalchemy

Lot of hyper active guys seem to have trouble with that. I have a suspicion he gets comfortable shooting ft... and boom all of a sudden he will catch better.

Russ

I can't help but think if this year was going like it is with Bell and Jones unable to hold their own for the most part what kind of a feeling would we have if they just announced that we just signed Boogie. I'b be so jacked. I sure hope he comes back healthy and ready to play as we need someone to play the post, props to Looney tho as he is playing much better.
