Great point! I think it was my IG level up, that was one I had for him. Because he doesn’t want to elevate as much anymore. But Steph could use it even more. Steph almost exclusively try’s to scoop high off glass.

It looked to me like Klay was in his feelings about the "Steph's new record" party or something - and until the end of the 1st half none of his teammates were looking for him. I watched him get ignored possession after possession, in spite of being wide open a couple times. Kerr noticed too, and the ball went to Klay the 1st possession of the 2nd half, and out of a couple timeouts as well. I don't think Steph noticed until after halftime. Great breakdown as always.

it’s hard, part of why the two MVP can hit the shots they do is they have there mind made up long before the shot. You kinda got to let them cook. But yeah I’ve noticed him being missed on the corner looks more than usual to start this season. As low maintenance as Klay is...It’s something to keep an eye on .

I think Klay should continue to work inside and then out. He clearly has put in time with his dribbling, get your mid-range game going.

I was thinking the same thing, since a few games in, KD & Curry seem to be gelling. Klay's wide open shot not only isnt dropping, that opportunity seems to be occurring less frequently. It's interesting because most of the nba free agent equations the last few years have been built on narratives, but there just may be a fundamental change in the warriors offensive approach. As much as it is nice to see the handles on Klay have improved, he doesn't seem a strong shooter from distance off the dribble...and more importantly, do we really want him to be creating his own shot from outside the perimeter when the buckets matter when we have 2 of the greatest scores of our generation standing idly by? His shot will re-arrive in the next week or so, but we have to assume these slumps and momentary misfires have an effect on his final decision come next summer.

Looks like Mckinnie will be here to stay. Can't see GSW letting him go. For him to be this good only 7 games in is remarkable. No doubt a better player than Mccaw. Love that Mckinnie and Jerebko are not scared to shoot 3's. They shoot them with no hesitation. Draymond is getting his conditioning back so he's playing better with each game. I think we all take KD for granted sometimes. Remember how Miami lost the Finals the first year Lebron was there? The reason why KD has fit in so seamlessly is bc you can plug him into any team or any system and he will be great. You don't need to design a system around him or surround him with certain players or even run plays for him. He's just that good. You just give him the ball and he will score efficiently every single night. There's no one quite like him.

It’s not as spectacular as Steph but it’s just as devastating if not more. I’ve considered McCaw gone, didn’t even think of that with McKinnie. Your right his spot is gone!

It is time to do a little catering to klay, I dont care how low maintenance he is every one of these players want their numbers. So kd and is one man game needs to stop, the next couple games against scrub teams they need to run some plays for klay. Everybody else having fun and you can see he is in his head about his low shooting percentage.

Okay always seems to have a a slow start, or a slump at some spot in the season, but I've never seen his shooting form look so different. I love the increased handles and diversified offensive game (remember all those Klayups he'd klank as a rook and a soph?) but I hope he regresses to his mean soon with the three ball... and more importantly, his form and his confidence.

i've been enjoying the 2nd quarters where klay's the primary scoring option for the first 6 minutes, dray sets him up really well.

AA, I think you're exactly right, we're in for a heavier dose of both Bell and Mckinnie which probably means a little less Looney or the Swedish Meatball.....yes that's right, I believe bad nicknames will eventually produce a good nickname. I think Steve knows what he has with both Looney and Jonas so he's gonna develop the buffet table with other reliable treats.

Do you notice how Steph is finally starting to take advantage of the rules a little more now? He has always been so pure with his dribble and shot, he has never used the Damon Stoudamire Carry-Hopstep or the Iverson Carry-Crossover until this year. Now he's finally saying well Hardin and Russ battled for the MVP for the last 2 years and they use the cheats and the leagues not stopping them, hell why not? I say go with it until they stop everyone if they ever will. Slim's been on board with the slight carry on his crossovers and I see his as clean enough compared to the rest. Steph is almost too clean. About Klay dribbling to get his shot, I agree stop that, it wastes too much of his energy that he needs for his valuable defensive stopper role, Iggy may not be there for that role as much this year..

Steph's 3-point record for 5 or more in 7 consecutive games is for any series of 7 games, not just to start the season. Still, it's a pretty arbitrary record : )

Do you notice anything wrong with Klay's form? It looks a little off to me but I can't put my finger on it. He seems off-balance on a lot of shots, even the ones where it's not off the dribble, and his followthrough doesn't look normal to me.

2Klay Thompson... way to break out of a slump! It's very interesting that both Steph's record and now Klay's were set immediately after a horrible shooting night/s. Law of averages I guess!
