Kind of wished Steph would’ve got it or co-fmvp...Steph had 3 great games to KD 1 great game...that can’t penalize Steph for having one bad game during a 7 games series..

Was at the Watch Party at Oracle and it was lit man. We came out strong in the 1st quarter and it kind of went anticlimactic like you mentioned from then on. We were already looking forward to the confettis falling by the end of the 3rd quarter! I’m happy and sad at the same time that the basketball season is over. Sad because we don’t have any more basketball until September but happy because it’s finally the offseason and we bringing another chip back to the bay! Can’t wait for the offseason and the signings we will make to improve our squad heading to next season. Expect 4-5 guys gone this summer! Thanks Alch for all the coverages bro! The season was such a grind but we both kept talking about how satisfying this championship will be after not getting 1st seed and injuries to all 4 all stars!

Who else is curious about what David and Shaun were talking about the “issues/drama” they went through the season? A part of me feels like Steph and KD has some heated tension at some point in the season. But they both looked “relieved” now and that’s all it matters!

Thanks for a great season Alchemy! Been a GS fan since my family moved to the Bay area in 1987 and Sleepy Floyd dropped 51 in that playoff game against the "fakers". Your hard work has helped me follow my beloved Dubs form my new home in Moscow Russia.

I'm glad to see you had the same take on Steph during the game, definitely felt like he was stat padding... Not the right way to win an FMVP, but also if the cavs are just going to roll over you might as well have some fun with it? I think the smiles, hugs, and compliments between Steph and KD are real, but I do find it interesting that they usually end up with nearly identical shot totals. Wedge or not, I'm just happy to be a dubs fan right now. I still think there are levels of play that this team can get to, that they haven't yet reached. Huge Thanks for all the hard work this season alch! It was worth every penny!!

I think the beauty of this team is that they really truly don't give a shit about FMVP or any other awards. I'm gonna share KD's quote from tonight here, I thought he stated it perfectly: “MVPs, obviously we all want stuff like that,” Durant said, elaborating on his message to Curry. “We would love stuff like that. To average 27, 8 and 6 — and last year averaged 28-8-9. You don’t have to prove shit else. You don’t have to win an MVP when you do shit like that. We’re not winning the basketball game without Steph. We’re not winning the championship. We’re not even close. Awards, that stuff, we know. We know what Steph brings to us. The Bay Area knows. The coaches know. Everybody in the game really knows. The gold ball, the MVP and stuff, it’s cool but it don’t really matter. We know what it is.” None of this is possible without Curry. He is the system, the franchise, the centerpiece, he is everything to this team. He is what Duncan was for the Spurs and what Jordan was for the Bulls. I'm gonna remember this season for the Houston series. What an epic series. We were on the ropes. Do people realize that GSW was down at halftime in both G6 and G7? I will never forget that HOU series. This is gonna be an exciting offseason. Outside of the core 5, I see a lot of changes being made. Lacob is a shark, his appetite for winning is insatiable. Dude could care less what people think or how they feel, he just wants to win as many rings as possible. I see Zaza, Young, and West gone and perhaps both Javale and Looney. GSW is gonna be looking for a center who can score reliably inside, this is the only thing missing from our offense. A guy like Brook Lopez would be perfect. They're gonna also try to get younger. We have a 1st rd pick and will probably try to buy a 2nd round pick as well. Gonna be looking to threepeat.

I saw it in the first quarter. Curry knew that for him to have a chance at MVP he had to hit 35+ with 6+ 3's and KD have a quiet night. And he was going for it from the beginning. I'm gonna say it once last time before this amped off season, Curry's warriors with this team and a few extra pieces that 30 million could provide, could have beat every team in this playoffs. Would they have, maybe not. If Curry gets hurt, do they past New Orleans, probably not. But the next year if they won it without KD, it wouldn't feel like you said, expected, but they could take it if they added Avery Bradly and another small piece. That team wouldn't be the Las Vegas favorites, but they still could win the chip. Cuz Curry when given the absolute green light, take over the game except when Klay is raining, that team is the team that I would prefer to see, and KD go to LA or the Sixers. He's too good to share the ball with another MVP. And everybody knows it. This team is too good when healthy. Lebron can go to Houston if he wants, and that empty bench will get destroyed in a 7 game series.

A fitting season-ending video for this season. I 100% agree that the point of attack has and will continue to be SC/KD's relationship and wedges will be attempted. Let's hope they are as solid as we think they are. Alch, I'm with you for the duration!

If the post game comments were any indication, I think this team is incredibly solid, and the guys are extremely tight. LeBron's gonna have to form quite the superteam to take us down. I'm looking forward to this off season like no other. Who's gonna step the fuck up and try to take our crown, and who's gonna whine and moan and slink back into the shadows until our run is over.
