Disappointed for steph really wish he had driven to the basket more instead of chucking 3s. Hope he has a monster game friday

I watched a Rachel Nichols interview after the game and apparently steph had scratches and cuts all over him from cleveland playing physical. I think he might have switched shoes also, but i’m not too positive.

As a team, offensively, this was almost as bad as we could play. KD was incredible but when are you ever going to see both Curry and Klay miss so many shots in a big game like this. Let's not forget, the only team with a worse defense than the Cavs this year was Phoenix. This is the 29th ranked defense we're playing. I hope they do keep playing Hood, he is an atrocious defender. Maybe one of the worst defenders I've seen in the playoffs. And people are gonna talk and say Curry was bad but he actually played a great game. The beauty of Curry is that even when he shoots this bad, he still helps the team win and makes the team better. Great playmaking, great defense, great use of his gravity to allow non-creators like Javale/Bell/Draymond to all score a lot of points, clutch shot-making, clutch rebounds and assists. As far as KD, dude is just stone cold. Before tonight, his shot in last year's G3 was the most vicious shot I've ever seen. But the 3 he made tonight beats it. The viciousness of that shot had me in shock.

honestly, nothing beats the awkward silence of MJax and JVG after KD hits that shot. Breen is great as always but MAN there's a lot of salt going on there. not even a dumb outro from MJax as they cut to commercial, just pure, salty silence.

I encourage perspective for Warrior fans here with 2 words, "accept KD". All the fans complaining here the last 3 weeks you need to take your medicine because even in god mode KD still didn't box out but: he did score from everywhere, rebound on both ends, block shots, play defense, make some gorgeous passes, lead in effort and efficiency. Maybe unicorns aren't meant to block out but when you're a unicorn with a god mode setting maybe iits supposed to be that way. Don't buy the media meme that KD is an interloper he's not and when they hang his jersey in the HOF it will be a city, or a town, or a Chinese heritage, or a cable car or well you get my point.

Imagine no Breen who always add to the excitement of the game....it would be be sound volume 0 without him.

Steven? I am definitely one of those fans. but I posted this comment on the youtube..."As a GSW fan, most of the times I don't approve of KD's game even when GS wins (including last years final). I might be wrong, but (4me)this is the best KD performance ever!!! KD just went into GOD MODE..." Even though he didn't box out, you saw the defensive effort and the minimizing of the lapses (miscommunication). I can live with that. For his abilities, he can be more devastating as a two-way player, pulling offensive & defensive rebounds (he had 12 DR tonight) with his offensive ability. What you should note also is the pace at which he played when attacking (Alch pointed that out). Instead of the iso-dead-ball movement that stagnates the offence. This time around he was quick & decisive on the attack, lower his centre of gravity when dribbling (reducing the prospect of getting picked with the long/high slow dribble) the ball & making fewer dribbles. I CAN LIVE WITH THAT. He doesn't have to score so big on a regular for me as a fan. but if he can maintain those few fundamentals and stick with the Warriors' system...I definitely can accept KD (fully)...

Alch, you said you were worried about Steph going to the locker room. ESPN host Rachel Nichols was with Steph after the game, reported from the locker room that Steph had lots of digs and scratches. His reason for hitting the locker room during the game was caused by a bleeding somewhere around his knee. Steph complained how tough it was.

The thing I love about Steph is that he did not hang his head or get demoralized. Most players in his position would be upset because this game might cost them the MVP, but Steph only cares about the win. He has some great defensive plays and has some great stops on LeBron. Last year, Steph would have checked out like he did several times last year, but he learned to let his defense lead to his offense. Same with Klay. Klay guarded LeBron a lot, and that might have been a strategy to have him guard LeBron instead of KD so KD has more legs offensively and limit Klay's offensive roll so he can guard LeBron with fresher legs. Just a possibility, considering he did not get the ball much and he was not cutting as much as he used to. We'll see what they do game four.

A side note - the Dubs were fully healthy last night for the first time in how many months? 15 guys ready to go, only 13 can play, and the inactive choices by the staff were Jones, of course, and... Cook - Quinnsanity hits the cold bench, finally the hard landing since that horrendous last-minute shot decision in Houston. Just sayin'. But what we did get was a solid bench performance, Kerr went 12 deep, although Looney and McCaw barely got their warmups off, even tho Livingston, Bell and Iguodala scored all the points. It was kind of what the team was looking to be in the playoffs after the all-star break, with McGee surpassing the fading Zaza, Bell giving high-flying energy minutes, and then there are the wise men earning their crunch money. Righteous stuff.

Alchemy check out this video on Kyle Korver. Any thoughts? <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzGYa3WQALk" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzGYa3WQALk</a>

Strong Foru

There should be a rule that the players have to keep their nails super short. Too many cuts and scratches going around.

Lawrence Tran

I think KD definitely has stole the Finals MVP from Curry because of this game.

athleticalchemy

I think the core of it is trying to attack Steph every time. But yeah I do agree Jr should just be benched.

I think it evened it up, they both have two good games and one smelly turd job. So it comes down to the Dubs' fourth win and who shines in that game, and the tie should go to Steph. To me the difference was that Steph kept working in his bad one, where KD kind of mailed it in. And of course he already has his finals hardware, but Steph lost the 2015 tie with Iggy.
