Should the warriors bring ig off the bench if he plays game 3 or start him

Ok 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Major Powers

Alc calling the sweep! I think they can get it if they want it. Honestly though, I just want another homegame, it's just too fun to watch. And I don't want the season to be over yet.

Jeppe Oliver Danielsen

Steph gunning for the FMVP. Really want it for him. It's the only thing left for him to get, and will cement his position as 2nd best PG of all time.

thanks for the breakdown of adjustments between G1 and G2--but also for the mid course adjustments (like to target javale, provide screens for Lebron near midcourt). it's probably my imagination but did klay have words with JR Smith early in the first quarter (with 11:04 left in the first quarter)?

Lue will change lineups, minutes and rotations because if he does not and the Cavs lose it will then be too late to do it and he'll be afraid of criticism but honestly with the revolving door that has been Cleveland's roster this year is it possible to shuffle the deck chairs and expect the defensive communication and trust you need to win a championship? Isaiah Thomas said the Cavs are playing selfishly on the defensive end and I agree.

i think alchemy's prediction of more pressure (trapping) on steph seems like a good prediction. i mean, lue would get fired if he didn't adjust for that and let it happen again in G3. so hopefully the warriors will have contingecies setup, steph avoids injury, and the others will continue to step up to the plate. excited to have Andre Ig. back

Yo coach, you seen max on First take talking about lebron should get fmvp even if he loses? I don’t understand how and why you should give a player that knowing they might lose in 4 or 5 games. Just imagine if that was westbrick getting numbers like that still losing to lebron, would they give it him even if he averages a 30pt triple double? The media has no respect for Steph whatsoever, what the hell did Steph do to get so much hate?

athleticalchemy

I really can’t watch the morning shows anymore. They just argue to argue, they don’t believe half the things they say.

Love the thumbnails bro. MT2 wrote an article on Steph going on after the perk exchange on the athletic that is money. Same thing you said, but dude is a wordsmith and the article was money. His toughness has always been underrated and when perk stands up Steph takes a step up, like bro I don’t care how big you think you are. And I do think that’s the next part of stephs game. Play with the joy when it calls for it, but learn how to let the disrespect fuel you to focus. He really is an assassin on the court, and has the audacity to smile and clown on you as he goes for the throat. As one of the smallest, lightest dudes in the league. You may not like curry, but damn that’s hard not to respect. And oh yea, Klay is the shit! He hit timely buckets, again when the offense went cold. Fucking love Klay.

athleticalchemy

In the moment I almost thought he had tweaked the ankle, and I hadn’t seen it. As the barrage continued I realized he’s just pissed! I love it! This narrative and disrespect is really a blessing.

This series shows how much chemistry matters in sports. The Cavs players don't like each other and it is clear on the communication on screens. They have some of the worst communication in the league and are horrible defensively. I think LeBron is demoralized at this point. He scored 51 in game one and they lost and just seems defeated. I like the idea of Draymond on LeBron. I will wear on him mentally and physically. LeBron has gotta be tired. He has been carrying the load for the entire season and has averaged about 41 minutes a game and no matter how great shape you are you will get tired. He has done this his whole career and has got to be exhausted. The harder we make him work for his buckets the better, even if it means leaving other players open. I'd rather have J.R have 20 points than LeBron have fifty. Once we tire out LeBron, which I believe will eventually will, they have no one. With Kyrie, they could give LeBron some rest but with no Kyrie LeBron is the only scorer.

Cavs started switching on defense bc they saw Houston do it to us and how well it worked. But the Cavs aren't nearly as good at it as Houston so I doubt we'll see them continue this. Switching effectively is very hard. Curry will see traps but this is something he's used to and is probably better at countering them than anyone else in the league. Other than that, the only way the Cavs know how to respond when they lose to us is to try and beat us up, like a typical bully. Lue even said it postgame about how they weren't gonna let us "run around free" anymore lol. They always resort to the same old shit, same old tactics. We can't get distracted by their shenanigans. Focus on our game, execute the offense, move the ball, push the pace, play with force on defense, and don't leave 3pt shooters.

Well the main reason the Cavs don't switch is because their defenders are not very versatile. Rockets built their whole squad to beat Golden State's switching game with only KD being the truly unguardable man.

Great job noticing the change in Curry's demeanor. Hard to notice that when you're watching the game. This is the stuff AA sees that no one else does. Curry's a little less playful and more laser focused and driven. Even more than he was in G1. Even his shimmy was different and more aggressive. I wonder if that exchange he had with Lebron at the end of G1 has something to do with it. Curry is peaking at the right time and he also has the freshest legs of any star on either team. This is his time.

At 7:35 is that really C-Web's Michigan caddy and the illegitimate child of Jimmy "J.J." Walker, or is that a wax figure being prepped for Madame Tussaud's? Or is this proof the national media talking heads are actually robots, activated at will and programmed to promote the company line?

Bob must have told KD they will trade him for Bron before the game. Best game I have seen him play in the Warriors system.

alc, whats ur take on lebron fans calling him the goat surpassing jordan?

athleticalchemy

I think in sports, every generation is better than the last. There is no way to equal out the advantages of each eara. LBJ plays then, he probably is never even allowed to shoot a 3. Jordan plays now, He doesn’t have a huge athletic advantage every night.

Derozan gets to the rim. MJ would dominate!

LBJ does not make his teammates better. In fact his co stars numbers all fall off. See d wade, bosh and k love.

athleticalchemy

No doubt he would have been a monster. I think the physical gap would just be much less. He was one of the first guys to strength train. Not really into the he doesn’t make guys better thing. This is the five and take in basketball. There is always sacrifice amongst teammates. Question is do you win?

I think one of the interesting stories of this series is going to be karma. Right after JR tried to take out Klays knee, I was thinking about how that should not go unpunished. Now, JR is essentially the laughing stock of the NBA

I'm watching this again cuz I'm itching to watch the Game 3 take!!
