Favorite character? Cool Lester Smooth. That will remain my answer throughout the duration of the series. (Second favorite character doesn't get introduced until the end of season two, and doesn't become a focal point until season three and then again in season four, and is barely in season five. I'm sure people can guess who I'm talking about. There's never been a paper bag. Until now.)

Omar isn't back in Baltimore. That was Omar in the Bronx new york. It clearly said it on the wall. Omar is just doing the same thing in a different location. Also, without giving you any spoilers, I think you're sorry of mislead about the seasons. They do deal with a differently storyline but this isn't over. It will make sense once you get through at least season 3 but it all is really one cohesive story you just don't know that at first. Hard to explain but you will get the answers to all your questions. My favorite characters are Omar and kima and my favorite season is 3. I'm not a fan of season 2 but it's necessary. Like someone else said they are introducing new characters and expanding on some that didn't have a big role in the first season.

I cosign the comments here regarding season two. S1 is done so well that when we are first shown the new setting and new characters in season two it can be hard to take in it at first. But it is a great season and really gets you ready for every subsequent seasons' mild reset and slow buildup of new settings and new characters just as good as S1!

Season 2 gets a bad rap but I love it. I think it’s because next to the following season, which is the most action packed, Season 2 can seem a little light. But I love it.

Much appreciated. I used to work with the police officer who was shot in the head at a Pizza Hut when we were both about 18-19. Tripped me out a bit seeing him online on the news.
