I would consider this absurdist humor or surreal humor. Watched it a lot as a kid, it was funnier then. Don't know if you guys noticed but the Asian guy who kept doing the Howard Cosell voice in the car was the same actor who played Chozen in Karate Kid 2 and Cobra Kai.

Idk if y'all ever saw it outside the channel, but the mom's food reminds me of the 80s classic The Stuff. If you like quirky stories I think y'all would dig it. And I love both of y'all's open mouth's "WTF" stare when the mom started to dish out the green....gloop or whatever the hell that was.

It kinda felt like a spoof of all the teen movies that were out in the mid 80’s. I thought it was a fun and weird flick Also… just on a personal note - I want my two dollars!!! 😆

So, watching this reaction made me realize this is just a strange movie. Had some funny bits, but def not one of my favs. I like John Cusack a lot, but not this. My favorite John Cusack movie is Grosse Point Blank, which also stars his sister, Joan Cusack.

Better off dead needs to be on a double feature with “One Crazy Summer”😇
