Brilliant show, but super dark, like you need a shower after each episode

Fun and pulpy show. This is basically a more over the top Mindhunter. Makes cannibalism somehow appetizing. BTW are you guys using Hulu or a different platform? Hulu seems to run faster than the version you guys are playing requiring a slight re-sync every 5 minutes.

There's no conventional logic to the mushroom guy. Some people just have stronger connections to things that aren't humans even if they are humans themselves. There are real life people who marry buildings and other inanimate objects. Anyways, he's hardly the weirdest character on this show lol. Probably gonna have to get used to a lot of "illogical" characters given the premise and style of the show. Like I said, it's pretty pulpy and out there but a pretty fun ride if you buy in.

You asked why Hannibal did the copycat killing, but Will explained it without realizing it. Seeing the copycat as an inverse to Hobb let Will understand Hobb which Will says it was almost like a lesson to teach him about Hobb, hence why Hannibal did it. Mushroom guy is most likely legally insane and therefore it's hard to ascribe motivation to him that we can understand. Hobbs would not be found legally insnae by the mere fact he returned the girl's body acknolwdging he knew it was wrong.
