Hey all :)

Hope you've been staying safe and healthy so far this Holiday season! Unfortunately, I myself fell ill shortly after finishing and publishing Morning (my most recent render). Setting health concerns aside, to be completely transparent, things have been incredibly busy for me lately (as I mentioned might be the case in my previous post), and I simply haven't had a chance to sit down and mess around in Blender, which is why I haven't posted any new content or WIPs.

However, I did have a few moments the other night to watch a tutorial on doing stylized color grading in DaVinci Resolve (the post-processing program I use). I then went through some of my renders and tried out what I learned, with varying degrees of success. For some renders, stylized color grading was not a good fit and I scrapped the results. But for those that turned out well, I've published them all here in this post.

It's definitely a unique look that is a marked departure from my current style. I really enjoy how it looks on certain renders, though! It's definitely a skill set I want to explore further and improve upon. If you're not a fan of these, or maybe you do like them but you prefer my current style more, don't worry! I don't intend to replace my existing style that you all enjoy. Rather, right now I'm thinking I will most likely use this style in the future, when appropriate, to create color grade variants like I've done here.

Anyway, speaking of content, I'll do my best to see if I can get a render out before the end of the month. Most likely I'll do something Holiday-themed since it's already past mid-December. As for these renders, I've uploaded them all to the MEGA archive in a single folder labeled "Stylized Color Grades." As usual, the embedded images in this post are the downscaled half-rez  versions, and you can grab the native full-rez versions from the MEGA  archive!

And, as always, thanks everyone for your patience and support <3
