"Morning."

Hey all :)

After the overwhelmingly supportive feedback on my most recent render, Desire, I decided to make a sequel to it. I wanted to change things up a bit, though, so this render is done in landscape with a different backdrop (same bedroom, though), different lighting setup, and different pose. Keeping with the style of Desire, I kept this render on the minimalist side, with just Claire, a bed, and a window view for the background. I've often been fond of making renders with lots of added details, like Outbreak and Field Prep for example, so it's been very enjoyable to instead focus all of my efforts on just lighting, composition, posing, etc.

I think both this render and Desire prove that sometimes less is more — with no added details to distract the viewer's gaze, all focus is drawn to the main subject. Of course, this could be a bad thing if, for example, the render was poorly lit, or the model was poorly posed, or the render had clipping issues, etc. But, at the risk of sounding a bit egotistical, I like to think I did a great job on these renders, and their simplistic style enhances Claire's beauty. (And based on the feedback I've received, I feel like this is a fair assessment!)

To go into a bit more detail on the render itself, there's just the one variant this time. No alternate facial expression or different post-processing variants or anything like that. I just had the one look I wanted for this piece, and I'm very satisfied with the result.

As for the rest of December, I already commented on this previously in the release post for Desire, but I'll be doing my best to continue working in Blender and making renders for you all throughout the rest of the month! However, please be aware that December is an especially busy and unpredictable month due to the holidays, visiting family, etc. But I definitely enjoy Blender-ing and making content for you all, and will keep doing so as my schedule permits :)

In closing, as usual, the embedded image in this post is the downscaled half-rez version, and you can grab the native full-rez version from the MEGA archive!
