Heyooo. In the previous posts I pretty much laid out all the teasers for Ruth. In this post I will go over the full change log, and everything to expect in v0.6.

At the moment, v0.6 is completed. We are just doing the final testing phases and getting out any nasty bugs we can find.

  • New Character: Ruth 
  • New Modifiers: Ritual, Doom
  • Future Fragments portraits have been updated
  • Missing a note will now remove progress
  • New Title screen
  • New Loading screens
  • All current modifiers now display in-game, and summarize on score screen
  • Added an "HP" upgrade in the shop for the Platform section. This will give 5 HP in total.
  • Boba sneak peeks.

Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where you could select cards in other tiers before it was actually on that tier.
  • Platform section received some janky animation fixes
  • Platform audio triggers were adjusted, so some SFX are less sloppy.
  • Platform colliders were slightly adjusted to make things a lil more accurate.
  • Fixed a bug where Faye's mouth side would go super fast after being paused.
  • Added text after tutorial completion, mentioning that there is a "Fast Travel" system via menu
  • Barrier Icon now properly disappears when song completes.
  • fixed a bug where "progress bar" would sometimes trigger modifiers before the game even started.
  • Fixed a bug where "Manual Sync" would have no sound on PC/Download version.

Diving a bit into what these modifiers are:

Ritual (1* - white): After getting ritual, whenever you get (50) consecutive "Perfects", a random available 1-star or 2-star modifier is applied. Stacking this will reduce the amount require to proc the random modifier.

Doom (4* - red): A brand new tier of cards. Red modifiers give a x2 Rep bonus. While Doom is active, missing, or overclicking a single time will instantly set your progress to -100, cause you to lose the game.

With that, I believe I have covered everything for this build. There are still a lot of requested features that I want to add. I simply have held off on some because adding them would make the already sloppy menus even messier.  I want to add them when I reorganize the Campsite Menu. I will look to do this alongside Boba in v0.7.

I hope ritual can bring some pretty fun results. Be sure to let me know what you guys think of builds, and new modifiers. I really want to continue building this into a game everyone can enjoy. In future builds I really want to evaluate the shop and think of good ways to progress it. Anyways... Thanks again everyone for the support! I'll catch you on release!
