Evening, all! It's been a few weeks now since my last post, but I haven't been idle. After no small bit of effort, I am pleased to announce that Carnal Coup - Overseer's Edition is coming soon to Steam! You can check out the page here, view our wonderful new trailer, and add the game to your wishlist (the algorithm hungers for wishlists). Our target release date is October 1st, which should give us plenty of time to add a bit more polish and finish up our bonus content. Speaking of which, here is what you can expect in the Overseer's Edition:

  • The most recent version of the game, with any and all post-v1.0.1 updates.
  • The full set of the Stories From Watch Station side chapters (currently available to Liberator+ patrons).
  • A brand new pdf-format art book! Unlike the raw art dump currently given to Overseer patrons, this art book will include design notes and other writings about the game and its universe, and generally be a much more organized collection to peruse.

Plus, of course, the joy of having Carnal Coup in your Steam library. I will note that this will not be a Steam exclusive, and I will be updating our itch and Gamejolt pages to reflect this edition of the game in the near future.

Seeing Carnal Coup on Steam has been a hope of mine for a long time, and I'm glad to finally be able to present it all to you. I'll keep you all apprised as further developments come, but until then, thanks for your support!

Unfortunately I can't see the page. I'd really like to have this game on steam though. Would there be a possibility for me to add this game on steam without having to go through steam? Like maybe you can sell keys on another website or something? No idea if that would be against Steam policy though, so definitely make sure to check that first.

I assume this is because of Steam blocking adult games in your country? Assuming it's not the sort of thing a VPN can get around, my suggestion would be to get it on itch or Gamejolt once it's released, and use the Steam method for adding non-Steam games to the launcher. It won't get you Steam achievements if I ever add those, but unless there turns out to be a major market for it I probably won't be.

it's more like if the game ever gets updated or anything, having it on steam and autoupdate just makes it way more convenient and comfortable than having to always check patreon or other websites to manually get the newest version. but i guess there's nothing that can be done. probably really should spend some money on setting up a us-steam account, but i've already wasted 50 € on an unsuccessful attempt.
