As more and more images were relayed back by the drones, Sun Cheng witnessed scenes that left him utterly astonished.

Through the portal suspended over the ancient city of Cairo, the menacing Mechanical Warriors descended upon Earth, launching swift attacks on everything within the city.

Autobots, Decepticons, human armies, buildings, and even innocent human civilians, who Vehicons couldn't be bothered with, were all targeted without discrimination.

The brutality displayed here quickly turned these Mechanical Warriors, emerging from the portal, into the enemies of the entire city.

Autobots were converging on them, Decepticons were joining the fray, and even scattered police and military forces within Cairo fought back with all their might when faced with the Mechanical Warriors attempting to exterminate them.

Watching these scenes, Sun Cheng couldn't help but speculate.

"Could it be the Quintessons?"

The Mechanical Warriors appearing in the skies above Cairo seemed more formidable than Starscream's Vehicons Legion, but they were also more deranged, even to the point of irrationality.

Sun Cheng patiently observed the battle footage for a while and noticed that they didn't hesitate to use area-effect weapons, even if it meant disregarding the presence of their allies nearby, just to maximize damage to their targets.

What sent chills down his spine, however, was their utter fearlessness in the face of death.

Upon suffering fatal injuries, they would detonate some Spark-like device within themselves, taking their enemies down with them, behaving like madmen.

So, even though the number of these insane Mechanical Warriors arriving in Cairo through the portal wasn't large, they still inflicted significant casualties on Autobots, Decepticons, and even humans in the city.

Their behavior prompted Sun Cheng to make various connections, given his knowledge of Cybertronian civilization and other unknown civilizations in this world, and for now, the only connection he could make was to the Quintessons.

As Sun Cheng delved deeper into his thoughts, he suddenly had a feeling that he might not be wrong this time.

"Could Sentinal Prime be collaborating with the Quintessons...? If it's him, he might actually go through with it..."

Sun Cheng didn't know much about Sentinal Prime, but he had heard some rumors about him.

This former Autobot leader was known for being ruthless and willing to employ any means necessary to achieve his goals.

In many respects, he outshone Megatron.

Sun Cheng had once delved into Megatron's memories, so he understood him better than other Cybertronians. Megatron was indeed proud and cruel, but due to the brutal experiments conducted on him during his youth by the Five-Faced Monster, he harbored deep-seated resentment toward the Quintessons and their civilization. He would never consider collaborating with them.

During his military tenure, Megatron personally led the destruction of a Quintesson colonization fleet, which earned him the adoration and hero status among Cybertronians.

Sun Cheng's thoughts were interrupted by Thunder, who flew over from another warship and landed on the deck behind him.

"Commander-in-chief, Cairo and the surrounding area within a two-hundred-kilometer radius are now within our strike range. Shall we commence the attack?"

After transforming, Thunder respectfully inquired.

Sun Cheng furrowed his brow and looked to the east. "Have we received any news from Lightning and his team?"

With the thick clouds gathering over Africa, Base Two had increased its focus on the African region.

At present, there were over seven satellites in Earth's outer space orbit that could provide continuous information to Base Two.

Hence, the intelligence regarding the near-complete annihilation of the European Joint Fleet, led by Lightning, by several Decepticons near the Mediterranean Sea, less than two hundred kilometers from Cairo, had already been captured by them.

Thunder nodded, "Lightning and his team have begun to return to Cairo. They seem to have noticed us but haven't initiated an attack."

A cold smile appeared on Sun Cheng's face.

It seemed that Lightning, the once-arrogant Cybertronian land and air commander, had learned his lesson after the last severe beating they had given him.

"That's good. We don't need to concern ourselves with them for now. The Autobot internal conflict is the main show at the moment. We don't need to rush in."

Both Sentinal Prime and Optimus Prime, the leaders of the Autobot factions, were not easily dealt with.

Sentinal Prime held considerable influence within the Skytiger Legion. During the Civil War, he could single-handedly suppress two Skytiger Legion leaders and numerous high-ranking commanders, often gaining the upper hand.

Optimus Prime, however, made Sun Cheng more uneasy than Sentinal Prime.

The young leader of the Autobots had undergone a significant transformation after obtaining the Leadership Module. Since then, Sun Cheng had encountered him personally on four occasions.

Each time they met, Sun Cheng could sense Optimus Prime growing stronger, rapidly and unbelievably so.

The last time they had met, Sun Cheng even felt an invisible pressure emanating from Optimus Prime. It was a kind of pressure he had only experienced when dealing with Lord Fallen.

This was why Sun Cheng always tried to avoid direct confrontations with the Autobots.

A young and infinitely promising super leader might not surpass the already aging and gravely injured Cybertronian Primus. However, the potential displayed by Optimus Prime was enough to make Sun Cheng tread carefully.

As he thought about it, Sun Cheng couldn't help but touch the scars on his mechanical body, left there during the conflict over the Leadership Module. These scars were believed to be the work of some entity related to Primus, and his eyes grew colder.

"Wait and see. In the past, you didn't choose me... in the future, I am destined to surpass you and become the strongest entity in this parallel world."

The flames of resentment and ambition burned fiercely within Sun Cheng's Spark.

But at that moment, Thunder's exclamation from beside him once again drew his attention.

"Commander-in-chief, is Sentinal Prime dead?"

Following his gaze, Sun Cheng looked at the screen nearby, which was playing footage from the hovering drones above Cairo.

When he saw what was currently being shown on the screen— a familiar giant machine thrusting a heavy sword through another mighty figure— his eyes widened in shock.

Sentinal Prime was dead!
