As these words were spoken, Sentinel Prime, who had been sitting silently in the military command center for a long time, finally spoke up.

“Frenzy? Is that the Decepticon from the Cassette Legion you mentioned before?”

Noticing his teacher's gaze on him, Optimus Prime slightly furrowed his brows.

He was aware of his teacher’s hostility towards the Decepticons.

Years ago, to wrest power from the aristocrats controlling the Council of Primes, Sentinel Prime had supported Megatron, then merely a gladiator slave, to the position of Cybertron's military commander.

Then, Superior General significantly undermined the prestige of the Council of Primes and their aristocratic backers by highlighting Megatron’s slave origins.

As the aristocrats retaliated, Sentinel Prime was forced to ally again with Megatron, toppling the Council of Primes under the guise of a revolution.

Megatron and the later Skytiger Legion were essentially creations of Sentinel Prime, born out of political necessity.

Peace didn’t last long. Soon after the revolution, a now-powerful Megatron backstabbed Sentinel Prime, who hadn’t yet assimilated the nobles' relinquished power.

Megatron, having rallied former Cybertron aristocrats and soldiers during the war, established the Skytiger Legion and swiftly captured several key military fortresses and industrial bases, catching Sentinel Prime off guard.

Today, Optimus Prime no longer needed to ponder whether Sentinel Prime would have purged Megatron after fully absorbing the power ceded by Cybertron’s aristocracy, had Megatron not betrayed him first.

Megatron’s betrayal and the ensuing millions of years of war between the Skytiger Legion and the Autobots had rendered the Decepticons and Autobots irreconcilable enemies.

Previously, due to this matter, Optimus Prime had only briefly mentioned the alliance and cooperation with Frenzy and the Autobots, avoiding any details that might displease Sentinel Prime.

However, this was an important military meeting, and simple evasions wouldn’t suffice.

After careful thought, Optimus Prime nodded slightly, “Teacher, Frenzy can be considered a provisional ally on Earth. Although his origin…”

Before he could finish, the very thing he feared happened.

“Nonsense!”

Sentinel Prime’s angry shout silenced the command center.

Under the gaze of all Autobots, he stood up, towering over Optimus Prime with a stern tone: “Optimus Prime, the Decepticons are the epitome of evil, utterly untrustworthy.”

He was, after all, the former leader of the Autobots, the king of all Cybertronians.

Sentinel Prime’s icy gaze swept across the command center. Even the hot-tempered Ironhide or the indifferent Sideswipe avoided his stare, turning or lowering their heads.

“The biggest regret of my millions of years is choosing Megatron to overthrow the Council of Primes, turning a slave into a hero of Cybertron!”

With an imposing aura, Sentinel Prime silenced Optimus Prime, who tried to speak, with just a look.

He sternly said to Optimus Prime, “The Decepticons are war machines born from the evil experiments of Quintesson, later transformed by cruel experiments of vile scientists like Shockwave and Starscream. The Vehicons they bred are more like the machines described in Earth's folklore!”

"Optimus Prime, as the leader of the Autobots, you must think from the perspective of all Autobots. Our enmity with the Decepticons is eternal and unchangeable!" Optimus Prime frowned deeply. In a sense, his mentor, Sentinel Prime, wasn't wrong.

However, it wasn't just Optimus Prime who agreed to contact and cooperate with Frenzy. Even Ironhide, who initially had issues with Frenzy, changed his stance completely after a year of caution.

From Frenzy, they had indeed gained much assistance. Intelligence was just one aspect; without Frenzy's warning, they might never have rescued Sentinel Prime.

Moreover, the valuable materials Frenzy provided in exchange for the [Leadership Module] energy eased the energy crisis in New Iron Fortress City.

Their trade with Frenzy didn't end with the two [Leadership Module] transactions. A few months ago, Frenzy's invitation to the Autobots to partake in the Black Market trade of Terindad Island opened new opportunities. Though not allowed to trade directly with humans, they could acquire rare metals from Frenzy on Terindad Island.

The Autobots welcomed this as they could obtain rare materials on Earth through Terindad Island. They speculated that Frenzy had either discovered a meteorite of ancient origin in South America or was mining in outer space.

In contrast, due to the Autobots' non-interference policy with Earth's internal affairs, Optimus Prime couldn't manipulate human governments or seize mines like Frenzy. This hindered their resource accumulation, unlike Frenzy's rapid expansion.

Even with Frenzy's non-involvement in Africa, allowing Autobot development there, New Iron Fortress City's growth paled in comparison to Frenzy's power.

The Autobot exploration teams were limited to remote areas in Africa, avoiding local tribal conflicts and warlords.

Frenzy also served as a shield, drawing some Decepticon firepower and giving the Autobots more room to develop.

In this context, Frenzy and his forces were becoming increasingly vital to the Autobots, transitioning from allies of convenience to full allies.

Their Decepticon identity became less relevant. Optimus Prime, as the current leader of the Autobots, understood the complex situation on Earth and the power balance between Autobots and Decepticons better than Sentinel Prime.

Hesitating briefly, Optimus Prime then countered his mentor, "Teacher, there's a saying among humans, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.' Frenzy has defected from the Decepticons and formed a more peaceful force. In less than a year, they've clashed with the Skytiger Legion at least three times."

"During the time before you were rescued, Soundwave, Astrotrain, and hundreds of Vehicons were eliminated by Frenzy and his forces."

"The Skytiger Legion now views him as we do, wishing for his demise."

"After our defeat and loss of all power on our home planet, our strength has significantly diminished. Many Autobots abandoned us after our escape, becoming wanderers."

"We need friends and to unite more forces to fight the Skytiger Legion together."

"This is the decision made after discussions with my advisors and commanders."

This left Sentinel Prime looking troubled and uneasy.
